TTC with erratic ovulation

Hi
Just looking for advice from anyone who was TTC with apparently no set time for ovulation and periods. Did you just have sex as much as possible each month? Or tracking constantly? I don't really want to do that and stress myself out but not sure if there is another way to do this?

My periods are regular so I assume I ovulate regularly but have the docs established a cause to your erratic ovulation as it may be treatable? Also, I think NHS advice is to have sex every couple of days throughout the cycle as its generally less stressful than tracking and no tracking method is 100% reliable anyway. I have opted against tracking.

Thanks- doctor said need to be trying 18 months before they would look at anything really. We will just carry on having sex every couple days and see what happens then haha

@MrsPee12 I don't really think it's fair on you that they won't investigate for 18 months because you have consistent menstrual dysfunction there may be an underlying treatable health problem regardless of TTC. Good luck xx
