Dealing with hope after miscarriage

Hey - first time posting. I'm TTC after a miscarriage at 8 weeks back in May. I had initially been pragmatic and laid back but my AF is due at the weekend and I am symptom spotting like crazy and feeling hopeful even though my temperature is not so high. I feel proud of myself for being able to feel hopeful again but feel like I am heading for a huge disappointment.

Any words of wisdom?

I'm sorry for your loss @crumbs123, I had a missed miscarriage in April Flowers

Just wanted to say I completely understand and can relate to how you're feeling. It's taken me a while to start feeling myself again and in the last week or so feeling hopeful. I feel exactly the same, that I'm going to set myself up for a big fall.

I'm just trying to take each day as it comes. If I feel OK I'm trying to enjoy that but if I feel low having faith it will pass. It's very hard though. My af is due tomorrow and I'm holding on that this could be our month 🤞 xx

Thanks for the nice advice @VenusStarr sorry to hear about your miscarriage back in April

I like what you said about having faith it will pass when not feeling so good, today I'm going to enjoy feeling hopeful today and know that I can deal with it (in the long term at least) if/when disappointment comes.

Good luck :)

It's the balance of hope, but not wanting it to tip into crushing disappointment.

I had a miscarriage in March and am finding my periods increasingly hard to deal with.

You're meant to be more fertile after a miscarriage, not sure why/ how.

Sorry you're going through this. Sometimes I feel really positive, some days I'm on the verge of tears all the time.

Sending love.

I had a miscarriage in April when I was 9 weeks pregnant, it was my fourth in a year. Ttc after it is affecting my mental health really badly - obsessive testing mainly. I think I might go and get the mirena to get a proper break from it all for a year or two.

Thanks for your comments @sophied1983 @itscallednickingbentcoppers @Loti92 its amazing to me that so many of us are dealing with this and it's so hard to find people that understand - I really appreciate hearing from you.

@Loti92 congratulations on your BFP let hope for more. For now, I am still waiting for my period with a really weird BBT chart and hope fading for this month but not burning in the long term :)
