My partner and I are on our 4th month of ttc and have started to use the clear blue advance ovulation test this month. I have a regular 26/27 day cycle and started testing on day 7 as reccommended. On day 12 I got my first flashing Smile and have continued to have a flashing Smile for the last 4 days (I am now on day 15). We have been BDing every day in this high period however I have not yet seen a solid Smile. Does this mean I havn’t ovulated? Could I still ovulate? Will the Smile turn to a circle when this high period has passed even if I don’t end up seeing a solid Smile?
I’m just worried that I’m getting closer and closer to my period and apparently still havn’t ovulated, can you still ovulate this late?
Help!
Thanks!

Hi yes its possible to ovulate this late... however you also might have missed it. Are you testing only in the morning? I got a static smiley in the morning this cycle but previously in the afternoon and I think that's true for a lot of women

Thanks for your reply.
I've been testing in the morning and afternoon but luckily this morning I got a static Smile! Am I right in thinking this should last for 2 days so I would be okay to BD tonight? Thanks!

@Izzimai20031998 - the static is detecting the surge right before you're due to ovulate (I think it's within 48 hours or so?). Tonight and tomorrow are good times but it's good you've been bd-ing anyway.

I used these and thought they were really good. Good luck x

Yeah plan is to BD tonight and tomorrow and possibly Saturday just to be on the safe side. Do you think you can too much though? I've read you sometimes can which I was a little worried about. This is my first month using them, before I was just using the apps which seem to have been completely wrong for me so fingers crossed! So hope it happens this month!
