Positive ovulation test 3 days before period

Hi. I took an ovulation test as I had pain on my left ovary, both lines were exactly the same. My period is due in 3 days, I have a 28 day cycle. I also tried a frer but it''s negative. I tried a pregmate cheapie and I can see a very faint line but my partner can't. I had a misscarriage 2 months ago. What do ye think? Any insight would be lovely 😊

I had positive OPKs on day 10 with both my pregnancies and not lines until day 12 on a pregnancy test so could be good news!
Equally I did read that some people get a surge before their period but fingers crossed for you x

If a FRER is negative then it is unlikely a positive OPK would mean pregnancy, they are much less sensitive than frer. You often have an LH surge before your period

Omg thank you all for responding to my post. I am 13dpo. It's a waiting game. I am 43 so the prospects are slim. 2 miscarriages and 2 chemicals in the last year. I am hopeful. I will test again in the morning.

Well I was actually 10days late with my period, I got so fed up testing and my periods where all over the place and always late I didn't think anything of them being late, then I realised they where soo late, only had ovulation test in the house, and I had read on the reviews when buying them that they had showed up pregnancy's, so done one and it came up instantly.

Because I am a new user I can't add a pic for 48 hours from when I registered.. bfn on pregnancy test this morning,. Opk still strong. Will keep you updated and thank you for the replies.
