I took the first opk this morning and the second at 6:30pm. Does that mean ovulation hasn't occurred yet? Will it begin to fade when it has or will I ovulate when it's positive like that?

I would say that your first one looks more positive than the second so it's possible that this morning was your surge. Typically people ovulate 12-24 hours after first surge, but it can be a bit later as well. After your surge you can get negative OPKs even if you haven't quite ovulated yet.

Are you temping, as that's the only real way to confirm when ovulation has happened?
