Hi all Smile

Was hoping someone could give me some advice, I have PCOS and have had trouble conceiving for years, I am on my 1st round of letrozole. Last period was 15/06/19 had sex 22/06 & 30/06, had day 21 bloods done and my level came back at 60.1, does anyone have any idea if I could be pregnant? I’m so impatient, I don’t want to take a test incase I get a BFN.

Do you track your ovulation? When did you ovulate?

You should be looking to test 14 days after ovulation.

To be honest I don't think a test would be positive as only 3 weeks since period so wouldn't show.

Hi michellebops,

I tracked it this month as I started on letrozole, prior to that I wasn’t ovulating at all due to my PCOS, it was always less that than 1, apparently due to my fertility clinic this is a strong ovulation level so I’m hoping to get a BFP, only thing is I’m so irregular with my period, they are all over the place again due to my PCOS. Thanks for replying this is the 1st I’ve posted in mumsnet.

Good luck. 60 is a good number.

My 21 test was 27.9 but mines was done on day 20z. Still evidence of ovulation but not as high as I'd have liked.

I hope you get your positive this month.

Ps I live near Glasgow 😊

Yeah mine where day 20 as day 21 fell on the Saturday....are you on fertility treatment and how long have you been trying? Where abouts are you from Smile

No, I had a miscarriage last year and been trying since New Years. Feels like it will never happen.

Can only keep trying.

I'm in Cumbernauld 😀

Glasgow19 · 08/07/2019 22:11

Sorry to hear that, I have a son who is 10, I fell pregnant naturally with him and no luck since, the fertility drugs are supposed to be very effective but everyone’s different I suppose, keep me posted Smile yeah Cumbernauld not far at all, all the best x

Had a little (very light brown mucus discharge when wiping today a couple of times , could this be implantation bleeding? It’s very light and only when I wipe?x

OP posts:
Michellebops · 09/07/2019 22:48

Possibly. I've never experienced implantation bleeding. Though if it could be, then use as an indicator of when to test at least 4/5 days.

In saying that sperm only lives for up to 5 days inside you and I think it's been longer since you dtd?

Glasgow19 · 10/07/2019 09:33

Thanks, only time will tell although I don’t think I will be pregnant.

Tested yesterday and today but both negative, I think I’m testing too early to be honest

Michellebops · 11/07/2019 10:35

If the pinkish mucous was implantation then I agree too early to test

Glasgow19 · 11/07/2019 14:13

I think I’m just getting ahead of myself 😂

I'm now 6/7 dpo and convinced I'm getting a positive.

I think I'm setting myself up for the biggest fall.

Glasgow19 · 11/07/2019 18:52

Fingers crossed for you, keep me posted 🙂 I’m getting some brown discharge again tonight, god knows what’s happening lol

Will do 🤞

I never had any early symptoms from any of my other pregnancies but you can't help symptom
Spotting 😭

Glasgow19 · 11/07/2019 19:00

It’s probably my period coming as I’m on day 26 but saying that with my PCOS they are all over the place, never been regular and I can go 35-40 days

OP posts:
Michellebops · 11/07/2019 19:06

I'm usually spot on 27 days but last month I was 31 and month before I was 18.

Had an op at Nuffield 3 weeks ago and they confirmed I don't have PCOS or endo etc.

Had the same op a year ago and fell pregnant afterwards which is why I think I'm convinced I'm going to have a positive next week.
