We are currently TTC I'm coming up to my fertile window and I usually ovulate around days 16 to 18 would be between this Friday and Sunday. I've been using ovulation test strips too currently on day one of testing. Last month I got a positive on cycle day 17 and period came 2 weeks later. I've also noticed my CM starting to get watery and more mucus like today. Which happened last month too. My question is what would be the best days to try? Every day would be out of the question for us too.

Has anybody also used the clear blue ovulation tests the ones that show your most 4 fertile days?

Thanks everyone 🙂

I can't help with when would be best to try but I'd say the beginning of you fertile window as speed can live for a few days which give them time to find the egg.

I've used clearblue and got pregnant, I guess they are pretty accurate

CD 14, CD15 and CD17 would probably make sure you hit ovulation definitely. I appreciate that there are two days in a row so of you can't manage that try and do CD 13 rather than 14 x

I would say try and do every other day until ovulation is confirmed if you can. The days when you have the highest chance of conceiving are the three days before ovulation, so if you're doing every other day then you will be guaranteed to hit at least one of those.

Once you get a positive OPK, if you can manage a couple of days in a row then even better, but if not EOD should be plenty.

Thanks girls.

Looks like I'll ovulate earlier this month probably tomorrow as I've just got a positive on ovulation test. We did DTD last night and planning on tonight and tomorrow too. Fingers crossed x
