Hoping someone could relate to this... we DTD on 26.06.19 and 28.06.19. Ovulation 27.06.19, although I don't actively track so could be wrong. I had the copper coil removed 02.07.19. Light spotting on 05.07.19 and 06.07.19. Yesterday I started to lactate. Sore breasts, aching legs, headachy, mild cramping. I did a test this morning and it's definitely negative. Period is due Thursday. It's the lactating that has me... I can't find anything online about lactating this early and I'm worrying something is wrong? Anyone with similar experiences?

It can happen for a whole host of reasons- medical conditions, medication, hormones etc. Happened to me and dp several weeks ago, scared the s**t out of him. But it only happens the once. Nothing or do with being pregnant though, so google without adding pregnancy, there’s loads about it on the net.

Thanks @Snowy81...

Do you think it could be to do with being pregnant then, or completely unrelated? I wonder if it's something I should make an appointment for?

Honestly I’d say unrelated, as you had the coil out not long ago, however I’m not a doctor! But I would say, don’t get you hopes up, but then I fell pregnant 3 days after my coil was out 14 years ago (So much for my Dr telling me it would take a year to become pregnant). So anything is possible! But many women and men lactate for numerous reasons and there’s nothing to be concerned about. But obviously if it’s happening frequently (mine was just twice) and you are not pregnant, have a chat with your GP to make sure everything is ok. X

Thanks @Snowy81 that makes sense. I got pregnant immediately after having my coil out with my son 3yrs ago, so I guess it is possible to happen again, but the lactating and negative test worried me a bit this time... I'll wait and see and if it carries on I'll go for a checkup!
