BFP OR EVAP LINES?

So I done 3 first response (up to 6 days before period) test and straight away there was tiny faint lines as you can see on these photos however just after the 10 mins mark they dried fully and was a definite pink thin line!
I straight away thought positive until I done a clear blue digital and non digital today and it said negative
I'm not due on for another 4 days I don't these first response 2 days ago! Any help appreciated

BFP OR EVAP LINES?

Clear Blue (especially digital) are far less sensitive than FRERs. As you're still 4 days off AF I'd wait at least another couple of days and do another FRER to see if your faint lines are getting darker. Good luck x

You've invalidated them by dismantling them. Show the full test and it'll be easier.

Danc95x · 07/07/2019 21:27

I didn't realise they invalidated them? X

Do you think it's more likely evap lines on all 3? Xx

I've no idea as they're not valid.

Were the lines there before you dismantled them? Try another in a couple of days (let the level of hormone build up)

Wait a couple of days and do a clear blue digital, as pp said they are a lot less sensitive. Not great to take the tests apart but I'd say they were positive.

Danc95x · 08/07/2019 08:13

Yeah the lines were there I dismantled them to get a better look though, they did dry a proper pink photos don't just it any justice. Hopefully not evap lines just gonna have to wait a couple days cxxx

When you take apart the tests they become invalid. That being said if the lines were there before you took them apart then it could be a positive sign.

Ginmonkey84 · 12/07/2019 20:04

Yes unfortunately once the air hits them it can change the process. So it invalidates them. If was there before you took it out then it’s definitely a positive sign. But I’d call them Evaps for now due to them being removed from the casing. Best of luck x

I once had a FRER that dried completely pink when I took it apart and I wasn’t pregnant unfortunately.. prior to me taking it apart, I thought I saw a line but clearly I didn’t!

The basics of tests are you must see a pink/blue line within the 5 minute window the box says. If you don’t see one but see one when you look later on, there’s a chance it’s not valid!

Good luck!
