BBT rise day before AF due new to this

This is my first month measuring my BBT. I take it at the same time every morning when I wake (6:30) before I move.

I'm due AF tomorrow and today my temp went from 36.70 to 36.88. I ovulated on cd14 so I'm now 11dpo and really impatient!

Anyone with any experience of charting around? Is it normal to go up before AF or should it be coming back down? Thanks :)

@Davies519 hi, just wanted to say that according to FF I'm due AF today, my temp has stayed high today but I tested and got a BFN on an FRER, so think I will be out tomorrow. This cycle is more mirroring my pg cycle back in feb (I miscarried at 7 weeks) but am not hopeful.

Do you have any pg symptoms at the moment? Are you waiting to test?

Davies519 · 07/07/2019 10:17

@kayjay2018 I'm waiting to test, I've bought a pack of FRER but I'm trying to wait it out because I know I'll be disappointed with a BFN. Are you going to keep testing until AF shows?

I had some cramping a few days ago and yesterday I was a bit nauseous mainly been tired but I can feel like that before AF anyway. What about you?

I guess we're not out until it shows, it's just the wait! I'm not good at being patient! :)

Temp rises can only be a good thing! It means your progesterone is increasing, which happens in early pregnancy.
There are other things that can cause a rise though, such as a disturbed sleep, etc so if it continues as opposed to being a one off, I’d say it’s a good thing.

@Davies519 I know in my heart I'm out this month. It's just hard to accept it. I knew back in feb that I was pg without taking a test. Just hoping my AF won't be as bad as the one I had last month and that this is my body getting back to it's usual pattern

Davies519 · 07/07/2019 10:33

@ELW85 thank you for your reply - I hope so my DS is 11 years old and starting high school this September! Only recently just started trying again after no luck for four years. The waiting list is really long (my scan and bloods looked ok though) to see a specialist and I'm turning 30 so I wanted to try again! It just really took its toll on me last time and I needed a break from TTC.

@kayjay2018 possibly but just see what happens. I know how disappointing it is when it doesn't happen xx

Good luck @Davies519!

Davies519 · 09/07/2019 16:24

@kayjay2018 did you test again?

I tested this morning and got BFN, my temp is still up and AF hasn't (yet) arrived but I'd have figured it would have shown if I was.

X

@Davies519 tested this morning BFN, then AF arrived this morning. Getting AF really upsets me since MC.

Good news that your temps are still up, will u test again tomorrow?
