Ok I've been driving myself insane since I tested on weds, I got this faint positive but all my IC test still say negative.
Did I test too soon?!
I've not used a first response test since as I'm scared it will show a negative, I've still got really sore boobs and nausea but my brain refuses to believe the result as I only came off the pill 4 weeks ago and the only time I could of conceived was from the 19th June onwards.
(Got sent home from work as I had a really bad cold virus, that's the only reason I remember the date lol)
Please could someone shake some sense into me x

How early can u test?!

That looks like a positive to me...if you could have conceived from 19th June then it's very possible that could could get a bfp now...I'd say congratulations! X

CrazyFooLady · 07/07/2019 11:00

@maria2bela I'm guessing that my internet cheapy tests aren't as sensitive as the make out.
It would make sense that I conceived on the 19th as I got cramps exactly a week after and the sore boobs started last Thursday (so 8 days after DTD)
Just didn't think it would happen so quickly x

@CrazyFooLady that's amazing! Yes internet cheapies were rubbish for early testing for me too!

CrazyFooLady · 07/07/2019 11:19

@maria2bela thank u for saying that, I've been thinking that maybe I was imagining it all.
Damn tests are driving me mad lol x

Definitely looks positive and definitely possible.

Good luck with the next frer ❤️

7sausagedoggys · 07/07/2019 18:52

I'd trust FRER over IC. Try another FRER, by now you should have a really strong positive. Good luck 🤞

Suzanne4989 · 07/07/2019 22:37

Sorry to jump out your post, I'm new to this post. I would say it is 100% positive❤️

How have you been feeling? We have been trying to get pregnant and I've been having period pains but no period. I was so sure it was my period but it wasnt. I'm one of the people that doesn't get period pains 😒 my period isn't due until Tuesday. So conufsed!

X

CrazyFooLady · 08/07/2019 07:05

@Suzanne4989 been feeling tired, sore boobs and nausea.
Still can't believe it tho, I'm possibly around 4 weeks if that helps......... still can't get any positive tests on the cheapy internet tests tho x

I'm so confused at the moment. I've had period cramps for 1 week. And today my breast are sore. Had a negative test as well. So confused

CrazyFooLady · 08/07/2019 17:25

@Suzanne4989 have u tried a first response early test?! That's what I used as the internet cheapy ones weren't that sensitive x

OP posts:
Suzanne4989 · 08/07/2019 18:15

I used a normal Sainsbury's one and a clear blue and nothing. It's so crap not knowing. I'll just have to wait and see what happens by the end of the week. Fingers crossed. How are you feeling? X

CrazyFooLady · 08/07/2019 18:18

I'm actually driving myself nuts with testing every 5 mins....... all of my internet cheapy tests are still showing a negative. I don't get it?!
Apparently I should be 5 weeks on weds, but I'm still getting the faint lines on the first response tests.... should I be worried or should I just wait it out for a bit longer?!

OP posts:
Suzanne4989 · 08/07/2019 18:38

I understand what you mean with testing loads in one day, I do the same. You have had a positive test which is what I would go by :)

Can you go and get a blood test done at the dr to confirm?

Keep strong it will be great x

Michellebops · 08/07/2019 18:44

@CrazyFooLady I think you should get in touch with GP and ask for a blood test to check beta HCG.

The lines shouldn't be faint on a frer if you should be 5 weeks.

Good luck ❤️

CrazyFooLady · 08/07/2019 19:11

@Michellebops that was from last weds, I've tried testing with internet cheapies but they all say negative. I'm going to try another first response test on weds when I will be 5 weeks to see if there is any change.
By any chance, could that be an evaporation line?! Been scaring the poop out of myself by googling crap on the internet x

Hey I tested positive 5 days before my period was due with a clear blue test xxx

Michellebops · 08/07/2019 19:17

Sounds like a good plan.

Good luck ❤️

sao811 · 08/07/2019 21:40

@crazyfoolady the sore boobs were the main thing that made me test with my DD! Fingers crossed for you

CrazyFooLady · 08/07/2019 22:22

@sao811 thank u, just don't know what to think as I got impatient and tested with a first response test tonight and it was negative...... having said that, I've only been off the pill 4 weeks and have been properly trying since the 19th June.
Who knows x

First thing in the morning is the best time to test. Throughout the day your urine is weaker of the hormone so actually doing an evening test at the beginning of pregnancy will most likely show nothing. Try tomorrow first thing with a decent test and then you will know for sure. Or if not ask go for a blood test x
