Hi,
I've been prescribed cytologest pessaries to start on day 18 of my cycle which is tomorrow and to use them for 7days and if I get a positive pregnancy test to continue but I'm not sure how long for, to stop if I get a period, also have 5mg high dose folic acid, both prescribed by consultant at recurrent miscarriage clinic after all blood tests came back normal. Just wondering what people's experiences have been. X

When I took cycolgest I had to take for 14 days following ovulation, then take a pregnancy test on 14 DPO. If positive to continue taking, and if negative stop taking them so my period would start.

Hope this helps

@DoraNora it does help thank you very much, I've never used them before and have no idea what to expect.

Ah they're mostly fine! I would advise taking them up the back passage rather than vaginally - so much less messy Confused

Good luck! I hope it works out for you. Cyclogest was very helpful for me, as my 6 month old DD will attest.

@DoraNora I'm swerving towards using them at the pack as I've read that they can be messy, did buy some pantyliners just incase that way doesn't go to plan. I'm willing to do as much as I can to help and will be worth it to give my little boy a sibling. Thank you for your help! Congratulations on your little girl ☺️ x
