Thoughts after crash?

Ok, slightly random, myself and my husband are TTC, I'm due to ovulate today/tomorrow, however yesterday someone crashed into me in my car, complete write off and I'm bruised/few cuts on upper body but didn't need to go hospital, just typical whiplash, I had particularly bad bruising across seatbelt lines as expected on my tummy.

Would it be stupid to try this month? As long as I'm not in too much discomfort dtd itself, I appreciate no ones really medically trained here but just seems such a shame to 'waste' another month when already 5 with no joy

Thoughts? Is it too risky if bruised that could affect a bean if it sticks?

It won't affect it. Just carry on trying.

It won’t affect anything 😂

Sorry this happened to you.

I'd still go for it, and if it hurts your partner will stop.

I had a laparoscopy 2 weeks ago and ovulation was yesterday/today and we managed it twice although had to improvise 🙈🤣

My only concern in your situation is that ovulation could be delayed due to the body’s response to the stress of the crash. If this happens it would then delay your period which could lead you to getting your hopes up.

Do you track your ovulation each month? If so I would carry on tracking and, if not, I’d perhaps give it a go.
