Waiting is so hard...

Hi, I'm on cycle day 21 with an average length cycle of 26 days and am around 7-9 days since ovulation

I really wanna test soon but I know my fiancé will dismiss any chance of me being pregnant if I get a negative at any point, even if I try and explain that it's possible that I tested too soon. I just wanna know but i know i have to wait...

I hear you ....... but it's definitely too early.

I know it consumes our all day every thoughts but try put it to the back of your mind.

I've stopped testing as was more annoyed at the wasted money on tests and the disappointment of a negative was harder to take.

Today is ov day for me 🤞

I feel ya honey 🙋🏼‍♀️ my last cycle dragged like anything and ended with BFN, was counting the days down and was driving my self crazy, OH wasn't really paying attention 😅

However cycle 2 now and due AF on the 8th, off away on Saturday for a holiday with parents though and don't want to wait to test as we won't have much privacy from them and won't be able to hide excitement if it was to be a BFP!

Testing tomorrow morning but today is dragging like anything! I'm currently CD32 and my cycle was 34 days last month so hoping we won't get a false negative 👎🏻

@Michellebops thank you honey 😘 I've been off Mumsnet for most of this cycle because last month really got me down and I was getting obsessive so I stayed off and this month has flown! Can't believe it's time to test again already' 😱

I have everything crossed for you.

I'm only on ov day today. Had a laparoscopy 2 weeks ago and managed to dtd pain free twice this week so I'm hopeful.

Oh that's good! Yeah we DTD the few days leading up to my holiday and then when I was back, OH didn't go but it was only 4 days away so hoping we DTD enough before even if OV was when I was away as they say the swimmers last for 5 days x

I've got my finger crossed for both of you.

I'm thinking of testing Monday but I've got to try and resist because if it comes back negative becuase it's too early then I'll regret doing it and I want to try and save my first response for a bit

Every time you consider testing early put £1 or 2 into the jar and watch it save up?

@Michellebops that saving up the money instead of taking the test is good idea. Still struggling to not take a test... think I'm going to end up giving in and taking my first response on Monday...

BFN @Emae26 🙃🙃 only managed to hold my pee for 3 hours and I'm around 10dpo according to Flo so just going to wait for AF now instead of wasting tests x

Sorry to hear that but it's still early days and it's not over until AF arrives! I wish I had the patients to wait until AF but I think I'll only make it until Monday (which will be 12dpo and 3-5 days until AF is due)

@Emae26 yeah I was obsessive last cycle so just trying to keep it calm this time and not stress myself out

Sounds like the best way to be honest, I just wish we didn't have to wait to know!
