TWW - X-ray?

Currently TTC but desperately need some dental work doing which requires an X-ray. The appointment is booked for tomorrow as AF was due Friday just gone. I'm now 6 days late but all tests (ICs and a FR rapid) are negative.
Should I go ahead with the X-ray tomorrow and just assume I'm late/didn't ovulate this month or should I postpone the treatment? I've already postponed twice due to work/illness so would really rather not if there's no risk. How big is the risk anyway?

The risk is tiny, especially as the X-ray is no where near your pelvis. If you're really worried you can ask for a lead apron to put over your lower half but they may tell you it's not necessary. (DOI: Doctor)

Thank you, I think that's what I needed to hear! My dentist won't do the X-ray at all if I say there's even a chance of being pregnant. When I went for the initial appointment it could've all been sorted then but I was due AF the next day and had had a negative frer that morning but she still wouldn't do it.
Pretty sure the tooth just needs to be pulled they just need to check how close it is to the nerve. The local wouldn't be an issue would it?
