Acupuncture while TTC.

We are in cycle #7 TTC no 1 (I'm 30, DH is 34). I have started us both on Wellman/Pregnacare from this month.

I'm thinking of trying acupuncture to hopefully help us - it might help me destress if anything? I did have sciatica and this was massively reduced by acupuncture so I'm a big believee in it. I think its £35 a session.

Has anyone had any success with acupuncture in helping them conceive?
Thank you 😘

I tried it to help me give birth quicker, I had 3 sessions and felt like I left with a bottle of snakeoil. Maybe it'll have a psychological benefit?

I had acupuncture while ttc no2, I was also taking medication as I have pcos.
With dc1 we were ttc for 4 years and on medication for a few months. This time I had a month and a half (or there abouts) of medication plus acupuncture and got a bfp!

I've continued my sessions as it's safe in pregnancy, helps with my back pain and anxiety and there some reports that it can help make a calm/relaxed baby and mummy.

If nothing else I find it really relaxing and calming, maybe that's what helped conceive and calm me... who knows, either way it's an enjoyable hour for me 😌

It worked for me twice, sadly both ended in MC but that didn't have anything to do with the acupuncture. I'm a massive believer in it, however my acupuncturist said it should take 2-3 months (accurate for me) so if you haven't conceived in that time I would move on. I think there is a large variance in quality.
