TTC what do I need?

The time has come to take this TTC thing seriously! Me and DH have been trying for a few months with no luck.

I am completely new to TTC and feel it would be helpful to have a list of tried and tested methods on one thread.

I have the man, what else should I get?

Fertility tracker? Ovulation tests? Evening primrose oil? ...

I've decided against tracking ovulation but make sure you are having plenty of sex throughout the month, every 2-3 days (ideally every other day), I have started us both on Wellman/Pregnacare. Good luck x

Thank you @Rosieposy89 Smile good luck to you too, have you been trying long? Xx

@embaby - I have been trying since January, it feels like forever but I'm impatient Xx

Hey! I'm TTC too (this is my first cycle since my MC in May). I got pregnant straight away last time, I was using cheapie ovulation tests (£1 for 5 in savers or b&m) and taking them on my fertile days which I tracked using the app 'flo'. Try to have sex the day before your predicted ovulation date too as if you wait for day of ovulation you may miss your chance. I'm hoping and praying this works for me this time too! Best of luck to you! Xx

Hey @eastview Smile sorry to hear about your MC I hope you have recovered ❤️ I'm using Flo too! I will get to savers for some cheap ovulation tests. Do you think they are as good as the pricier ones? I presume they are all the same without the branding and extra price tag? Xx

@embaby thank you I am getting there! Tbh I've never used the expensive ones I just feel like they're really pricey and I've found the cheap ones to work (my MC was my only pregnancy) hence why I'm using them again. If this is the first time you're TTC I'd definitely recommend the cheapies first ! Especially if you have a regular cycle x

@eastview I'm usually like clockwork but this month I've been late and have no idea why so it's thrown me a bit. I actually already have a child but fell pregnant while on the pill with her 7 years ago, no idea how that happened because it's nothing like that now so I guess this is my first time 'trying' x
