Hi all,

Started a new thread to chat as the other thread I'm in are mostly all in there 2WW already and I'm at the start of mine. Anyone with me?

@mumof1hants Fingers crossed this is our month. I've started a new thread for us as a lot of the others are in their TWW already.

How are you feeling?

I will join you if that's Ok? I'm not a big fan of tww chat anyway. Plus I have a long way to wait until ovulation!

My last two cycles have been looong but getting shorter so hoping I don't have as long to wait as predicted! Any particular plan of attack for this cycle?

@Skyla01 hey I'm sick of making plans and then being disappointed. My OH works nights so I'm just going to try do my best this month again. Tried the pineapple last month. I had the implant so I've had different length cycles since I came off it in Jan. 29,28,26,29,30,27 🤦🏻‍♀️
What were you on before you started trying? I find it hard to stay on the other groups too when ppl are getting their BFPs and your not 🙈

It sounds like your cycles have been fairly short and regular so that's a good thing. It must be tough with your partner shift-working. It can feel hard enough even without the extra challenge of odd working hours! I think I missed fertile window last cycle as I was away on a work trip. I was on the pill before. 1st cycle 57 days then 44 days last cycle. Going to try using opks this time. Don't have the stamina to keep up DTD for long cycles. That's the odd thing about ttc groups- lots of people "graduate" each month. Hopefully we'll be next! What does the pineapple do?

@Skyla01 the pineapple is supposed to help implantation. I have done OPKs the last 4 months and I've decided this is my last month doing them. I like talking to ppl in the same situation it helps me get through. I was on the pill before I had my first i had really irregular cycles when I came off it too all over 30 days. Then they regulated to between 28-32 I was on CD 34 before I even took a pregnancy test on my little girl. Yours are def getting shorter though so hopefully we both get our BFPs this month. If you are doing OPKs do the CB digital 4 day. There is no guessing then once you get your static smiley you ovulate 12-36 hours afterwards. They are dearer but they def pin point O. I've mine down to between CD15-18. Also the min you see the EWCM means your close.

Yeah I have ordered the expensive clear blue ones. Not planning on using them for long as the cost is OTT, but hoping for bfp or regular cycles and then I won't need them! It's my first cycle using opks so feeling optimistic- would be great to know when I'm ovulating, hope they work! That's very useful if you have a regular fertile window. Last month I had several spells of ewcm so it wasn't a useful indicator for me. Might be different this month though. Fingers crossed for BFPs!!

@Skyla01 How are you doing? Have you started using the OPK's?

I'm trying to stay off this as much as I can so I don't get too stressed about it this month. I'm on CD 12 I'm not going to start my OPK's until wed which is CD 14. I've actually bought cheap OPK's too to check if they give me a positive the same day as I get my static smiley. If so I'll just use the cheap ones then next month(hopefully not that I will get my BFP lucky month 6) to pinpoint day as I can't afford the CB ones any longer!!!

Hi, I'm cd10 today. Last month didn't ovulate until day 30 so probably still got a while to wait. Going to start with clearblue around cd15 in case I ovulate earlier this cycle. Have 20 sticks so hopefully that'll be enough... I think a lot of people use a mixture of cheap & more expensive ones. Like you I'm hoping I won't have too much more of this, although I'm only cycle 3. Would like my period to more regular so I don't need to put do much effort in to tracking stuff. Hopefully the cheap opks will work well for you!
