No pregnancy symptoms here (fingers crossed!) but bumping this for you in case anyone else on the TWW is about, OP!

Good luck!

zenlife · 01/07/2019 11:44

I do think pregnancy symptoms in the two week wait mean literally nothing. I had an early miscarriage a few months ago and this month I convinced myself I was pregnant, boobs were killing me more than ever before, cervix high soft etc. It means nothing, cos my period started today two days early!! I have learned to completely ignore any symptoms now until AF is late, then test xx

CatLover210 · 01/07/2019 11:55

Hi, I am 9DPO today. Feel free to PM me :)

Caspianberg · 01/07/2019 13:46

8/9 DPO here. Af due 8th/9th July. Think I will test by the 7th just to make sure as have family staying the 8th for 10 days so would be good to maybe know either way. Mil is always handing out the wine otherwise...

Not sure if any symptoms here, had a tightness in stomach last 2 days, but could just be imagining things.

Sxd515 · 01/07/2019 13:54

Hi

First post here! I'm 7/8 days DPO. No symptoms. I'm a terrible symptom spotter and feel like this month I'm trying to be more realistic and realise that being tired is probably just because I've been working long hours etc!

The TWW is painful. I don't think other half realises how much it consumes my mind!

@AliceRR have you had any symptoms at all?

AliceRR · 01/07/2019 15:48

Thanks Mumsnet

You might be right @zenlife Two cycles ago I had so many symptoms and then af came early...

Thanks @CatLover210

@Caspianberg @sxd515 It’s so hard to know whether your overthinking isn’t it? I’ve been peeing more but I’ve also been drinking more. I’ve had some spots but I started using a new sunscreen and think it might be that. I’ve had some pelvic pain but I had that the last few cycles too... so I don’t think I’ve really had much in the way of noticeable symptoms, no.

AF is due 9 July for me according to Ovia but my cycle is a bit irregular since I had my daughter in February (she was stillborn at full term). With her I had lots of symptoms before my BFP which makes me think I would have symptoms if I were pregnant but I know it’s different for everyone and people say each pregnancy is different.

Caspianberg · 01/07/2019 15:53

@AliceRR - Sorry to hear about your daughter.

This is my first time TTC after stopping Pill in May, so early days here. From what I have heard and read, even people who have had 10 children can have completely different symptoms and pregnancies so I guess there isn't always a pattern. Will you wait until after the 9th to test, or at the weekend?

Busy week here, so i hope the tww will fly by

AliceRR · 01/07/2019 16:09

@Caspianberg Thank you. This my third cycle TTC. I would probably wait to see if AF comes and then test if AF is late (although hard to tell due to irregular cycle) or if I have more in the way of symptoms. I’m actually still on maternity leave since having my daughter so I have time to overanalyse every possible symptom... Will you wait to test?

OP posts:
zenlife · 01/07/2019 16:15

@AliceRR the only symptom I had when I was pregnant last time that lead me to test was huge bloating and really really gassy and crazy hunger, like I literally could not stop eating I was like a wild animal

AliceRR · 01/07/2019 16:23

@zenlife When I was pregnant with my daughter I was gassy, I had big spots under my skin (different from spots I might get with PMT), sore boobs, I was SO tired (I remember telling my colleague at work I felt I could have put my head down on the desk and slept) and I think I was a bit constipated too. So I expect similar but I know you’re right it can be different every time and I had all of these symptoms two cycles ago anyway 🙈

Fingers crossed for all of us 🤞Will you all be testing early or waiting for AF?

OP posts:
Caspianberg · 01/07/2019 16:32

I think I will test early at the weekend. Sunday will be 13 DPO so not super early I think.
Like i mentioned, we have in laws visting after that for 10 days, so i think if it was Positive, it would be nice for dh and I to have 24hrs alone to process. If negative, then I might partake in a glass of wine some evenings with meal and visitors.
Wouldn't tell family yet either way, think I would prefer to wait until 12 weeks or scan to make sure.

AliceRR · 01/07/2019 16:36

That sounds sensible @Caspianberg I would do the same in your position

@aliceRr I'm so sorry to hear about your daughter. Sending you lots of positive thoughts. I've definitely read that each pregnancy is different and some people have lots of symptoms and some none. It's a bit tiring thinking about it all and easy to over think and analyse.

Kayjay2018 · 01/07/2019 20:01

@AliceRR

Hi, I'm 7dpo today, due AF on Saturday or Sunday, I opk and temp so know I've ovulated this month and managed to BD at hopefully the right time, this is cycle 9 (third since mc at 7weeks in April).

Had loads of symptoms last cycle , BFN and the most horrendous AF (was the first proper one after mc). This time no symptoms other than needing to pee loads today!

Decided I'm can't stress about it, by now I either am or am not pregnant and I have no control, not going to test unless I'm late.

AliceRR · 02/07/2019 15:33

@Sxd515 Thank you. Yes it is so easy to overthink. I’m trying not to get stressed by it. Yoga has been really good for me.

Hi @Kayjay2018 I’m 10 DPO now and af is due a week today if I have a 30 day cycle but my cycles have been different lengths so who knows 🤷🏻‍♀️ You’re right that we can’t do anything now and stressing won’t help. I don’t plan to test unless I’m late either. Good luck!

Kayjay2018 · 02/07/2019 16:54

@AliceRR my theory is good....I'm already tempted to test before the weekend! Please tell me no!

AliceRR · 02/07/2019 17:00

No @Kayjay2018!! I’m not even tempted to test

OP posts:
throughthemountains · 02/07/2019 17:35

Hi guys! Thanks for starting this. I'm 8DPO. Pretty sure I ovulated early, but who knows as I'm waiting for my cycle to settle down after coming off cerazette. My boobs are currently killing, but I usually get that the week before my period. It's a bit early but think I'm just being hopeful! Holding off testing for anything. As you guys have said--so easy to symptom spot!

wineymummy · 02/07/2019 17:45

Hello again Alice! Here we are back one month on.
8dpo here, AF due next Tuesday. Tested this morning because I'm a sucker for punishment and of course BFN. Will test again Friday morning because we're away for a long weekend and it would be good to know. I've only got internet cheapies though and don't want to splash out on a FRER so doubt I'll get a BFP before Tuesday either way. No symptoms so to speak, I didn't have any with DC1 though so not expecting anything.

Caspianberg · 03/07/2019 06:18

11 DPO here (i think).
No testing done

Last cycle was 30 days, but first after stopping pill, so I guess this could be 28 also.

AliceRR · 03/07/2019 08:51

Sore boobs is a good sign @throughthemountains Mine are not sore so I’m not optimistic!

Hello @wineymummy! I haven’t splashed out on FRER either. I just bought some cheap standard tests in the supermarket so they’re here in case I come over with the need to test. Fingers crossed for Friday!

@Caspianberg. I’m 11 DPO now too. I’d say “I think” too. I got my peak OPK / static smiley and guessed I ov the day after that, the Saturday but can’t be sure as I don’t temp.

CatLover210 · 04/07/2019 08:23

Hey girls

Due on tomorrow but not gonna test til Sunday (if I haven't already came on that is) as I might be on a 28 day cycle this month instead of a 26.

I give up trying to symptom spot! I've had strong signs this month but I know that 'symptoms' in the 2WW tend to mean nothing!

At the moment I have:

  • on and off funny feelings in boobs and heavy feeling (but not painful anymore like they were during the week after ovulation)
  • on and off mild constipation (this was constant and painful for 5 days after ovulation)
-on and off nausea (this appeared around 8-9dpo and peaked in intensity at 9-10dpo)
  • i'm really wet which is not norm for me this late in my cycle. At gym last night I had to keep going to the loo cause I felt a lot of wetness and was worried it'd be showing through my leggings haha!
  • I started cramping yesterday (10-11dpo) and this has been on and off and I'm still experiencing it. It's mild, not accompanied with any spotting or brown discharge, and it doesn't feel like menstrual cramps. But hey, what do I know!
AliceRR · 04/07/2019 11:30

Sounds promising! @CatLover210

I am spotting today so think af is imminent...

OP posts:
CatLover210 · 04/07/2019 11:44

@AliceRR Well I don't tend to spot before AF so it probably doesn't mean anything for me.

I usually get cramps out of nowhere that feel like utter hell and I either come on instantly or know I'll come on in the next hour or two.

I'll raise an eyebrow if it isn't here by Saturday as like I said it should be tomorrow. I'll be even more surprised if it doesn't show by Sunday.

I just feel like it isn't meant to happen again for me. I had my one chance in the past and it was completely unplanned and I made the decision to terminate. It was the right decision for me but for some reason I have it in my head I won't be able to conceive again.

Kayjay2018 · 04/07/2019 12:11

@AliceRR I have to hang my head in shame. I tested on an internet cheapie yesterday and this morning (9 &10 dpo) and both bfn 😕
