How long did it take you to conceive?

Just starting out (month 1) and have read all the things about 20% chance each month etc but wondering how long it actually took you to conceive? Is it likely to be faster if you time it around ovulation?

I'm 27 and OH is 30 we are both healthy!

DD1 : 0 months. Fell pregnant with the coil in.

DC2 ( currently 12 weeks ) : 2.5 years, lots of testing and one round of IVF.

Me 25 DH 25 both fit and healthy

With DD, fell pregnant in 2nd month TTC...
Tried for DC2 and fell pregnant 3rd month of trying. That ended in miscarriage but got pregnant 3 weeks after d&c..currently 8 weeks pregnant
I'm 38..DD is 16 months.

9 years DS1 (5 ivf cycles own egg and donor eggs)

8 months DS2 natural surprise 8 months after DS1

Got lucky and fell pregnant in first month.
Hadn’t looked into ovulation yet but in preparation before trying had spent 6 months on folic acid and primrose oil ... happened in first month.

I was 35 and partner was 36 x

20 months first pregnancy that ended in mc. Then 4 months to the second pregnancy. I was 37 when I had DS, DH 48.

DC 1 : first cycle (I was 28, DH was 27)
DC2: 9th cycle (I was, well am - currently pregnant! - 31, DH is 30).
First time we didn't time or track anything, second time I did and it took much longer!

Came off the pill in June and found out I was pregnant in August.

Didn't bother tracking cycles as I figured it may take a while to get back into the natural swing of things after being on the pill for 10 years, but luckily it happened quickly.

DD1: six months

Then started trying for no2. Tried for 3 months and had a missed miscarriage at 10 weeks (baby measured 6). Then tried for 4 months and had an ectopic.

Had one period after the ectopic and somehow I'm currently 13 weeks pregnant.

2 years before I could start treatment I fell pregnant

2 years from initially starting trying naturally through to DS being conceived via IVF ICSI.

Two months I think.

2.5 years. Both healthy. But found out subfertile. Had ivf. Aged mid-late 20s.

2nd time- not trying but natural

This time 2.5 years and counting. And failed IVF.

Second month,it was the only thing that was easy,everything else was so unbelievably hard.

About 13 months total for me.
7 months where I was off BC, then 3 months of actively trying to time ttc. Then 3 months of using bbt thermometers and of sticks.

I would 100% recommend using some sort of of sticks, as it turned out I was oving before I thought I was!

Initially it took 4 months, but then I miscarried very early on, tried again and conceived 6 months later..
So all in it was a year

Dc1 6 months
Dc2 first try
Both times we conceived it was the first month we used "conceive plus".

Unplanned age 26, cycle 1 age 29, cycle 1 age 33. With the second and third I was amazed each time as started trying earlier than ideal timing with expectation it would take longer. I did have clockwork cycles back then

First time took 18 months (timed perfectly with ovulation every single month). Next two times were first try.

8 months followed by mmc. Came off the pill June 2018 and awaiting bfp again. I'm 29, dh is 28.

26 months, which ended in mc at 12 weeks due to blighted ovum.
Waited for a couple of months afterwards for things to return to normal physically and be in the right headspace and had BFP yesterday on cycle 2!
This will be baby #1. I’m 36 and DH is 42.

First DC - 9 months

Second DC - 6 months

Third DC - 0 months 🙊😃 I was 36 when I had her.

First month of trying, we were really lucky.

I was 27, he was 28.

DC1 11 months
DC2 first try
DC3 4 months
I was 28, 30 & 32.

First month of trying with DD1....took 3 1/2 years for DD2.
