Tell me about your “fake AF” which was actually a BFP

On day 3 of AF which meant a 28 day cycle for me (normally 30 days). Did a test last Sunday which had an obvious faint line. Af has come and pretty much seems like normal but I’m still getting pretty intense cramps Intermittently which isn’t normal for me. I’m trying to tell myself I’m not one of those people who have a fake AF when they are actually pregnant; so just humouring myself with other people’s experiences.

Maybe do another test?

I had some bleeding, so I thought it was my period. It lasted less than a day. I think if your period seems normal, it is probably a period, especially if you are cramping.

Going through this right now! Had a ‘period’ on 17th June so ruled myself out for the month, then had a light bleed yesterday which was odd so I tested and hey presto, BFP

The fake AF was completely normal. Heavy for 2 days then tailed off, cramps, the lot.

Going to the EPU on Monday to see whether it was actually a miscarriage, but the —3500000– tests I’ve taken are strong positives so far.

Back from holiday. Did these two tests and the results below. Do I just accept a CP? Despite 2.5 day af I would be ok 17dpo.

I can definitely see a line but would you say it's stronger than the 1st test I would wait a few more days then test again as with the bleed in the middle it could of been a chemical pregnancy but I really hope it sticks for you and gets stronger

It’s about the same as the line I did 8 days ago so it’s just bizzare. I thought if it were a cp there would be no line by now. Thanks for your message x
