So still no AF but I tested this morning and BFN so I'm guessing it will arrive in the next couple of days

@needsomebabydust this is good progress, it's great that they didn't just fob you off! Did they want any bloods or anything? How long is the waiting list in your area? X

AF arrived today so onto the next month but I think it's gonna be a case of just not preventing now and see what happens rather than tracking and everything that comes with TTC as DH and I was having a talk last night and decided it will happen when it happens and that maybe we are only meant to have DS1 which I'm not sure how I feel about to be honest as for ages I was happy with that but DS1 is always asking for a sibling and when we started TTC i was really looking forward to the idea of having 2 children

I hope I haven't come across as insensitive as I'm aware some of you are trying for your first still so would think I should be grateful to have even one child which I am very grateful for

@Ree91 they were pretty vague and just said someone would give me a call so I'm going to leave it two weeks and then follow it up. How are you getting on? When are you going to test?

@waitingforbaby2 any TTC journey is a horrible time. Sorry to hear that AF has turned up x

@waitingforbaby2 you don't sound insensitive, I think the emotions and journey are all as hard as each other whether you're trying for first baby or fourth baby! Sorry to hear that this month isn't yours x

@needsomebabydust at least the ball is rolling for now! I'm not due until Sunday so trying to hold off until Monday, the sight of a bfn is getting tiring now if af arrives I think I'll be making an appt with the gp and also investing in an ava bracelet x

I'm officially 1 day late, but a bfn this morning so not confident this month now 😦

@Ree91 the Clear Blue ones aren't too bad because it is FMU so do it before the shower and by the time I am out the result is ready. No, still haven't heard anything. Will give it until next week then follow it up so I at least know the rough timings. DH and I have agreed that if there is no sign of anything moving by October we will look to go private and get tests done but hope it doesn't come to that! I hope your GP can do something for you x

Sounds like a good plan! I hope it doesn't take that long for you though, hopefully they can fit you in with bloods etc before then. Would love to be able to do it privately but I don't think funds will stretch that far for me yet, currently in the process of renovating the house to get everything ready when it finally happens! X

I really hope we don't reach that point. Could only stretch as far as the initial tests, if it came down to it and more was needed it would have to be back to the long wait list!

I have the Clear Blue Connected which is good because it stores it all on your phone so can compare cycles. It's about £45 off Amazon and get 25 sticks so usually lasts me 4 cycles so worth comparing to the Ava x

I got my referral through today and booked in for 2nd September... I have been very lucky because it says eveeage wait is 17 weeks

@needsomebabydust omg that's amazingly quick, so happy for you! I've got my gp appt next week and fingers crossed mine goes through as quick as yours!

That Sounds good, I'll have a little nose at that one! Not keen on the ava price tag but it will be a small price to pay if it works x

@needsomebabydust gp didn't really know what to do but referred me for a gynae appt which I'm still waiting for, and an ultrasound which is booked for early Sept which is a good start I suppose! My ava arrived yesterday 😊 far too early to tell if it's any use yet but quite impressed so far!

I'm glad you got were able to get some tests scheduled. I am keen to hear how you get on with the Ava Bracelet - think I will go for one when I run out of Clear Blue sticks depending on what gets said at my appointment x

@needsomebabydust ava confirmed ovulation yesterday which was only 1 day out from my apps too, so I am officially 1dpo how are you getting on? X

@Ree91 yay! Hopefully this cycle is the one for you! I have started spotting so expect AF will be in full flow tomorrow so another cycle I'm out! Got my appointment on 3rd so hoping that will offer some explanation!

@needsomebabydust do you usually spot before af? Appt is round the corner for you to get the ball rolling, has your other half had any tests done yet x

Yes, about the last six months I always start spotting about 10dpo... The first time I really thought it was implantation bleeding, now every month I know I am out but there is still a tiny part that prays maybe this time it is implantation!! He has his Sperm Analysis Thursday so will hopefully have the results in time for my appointment
