So like title says I'm 39 trying for the third
Had my last baby at 34

After 6 cycles since Christmas I got pregnant but had very early mis at 5 weeks

Not just finished 2nd period since mis

In my early 30s always got pregnant easy enough

Now with age it's taking longer
I had2 miscarriage at age 29 and the early one recently

I'm not going down the route of getting extra help as if it doesn't happen I'll accept n move on

I just though it may have happened by now

We started trying for number 4 aged 38 in summer 2017. Dc1 and 3 were unplanned and dc2 took 5m at 29.

By April 2018 I got a bfp but lost it within a week. I then had no luck until I finally got a bfp in November 2018 aged 39. Due to short cycles this was on cycle 19, it was also at the point where we had decided to finally go to GP for advice although we weren't expecting help particularly.

I'm now 34wks pregnant. Wishing you the best of luck and sorry for your loss x

Hi, I’m so sorry to hear about your losses.
I had my first at 33 and conceived straightaway. We started again for DC2 3 years ago. Finally got pregnant again last year (37) but I lost it at 11 weeks.
I bought the book ‘It Starts With the Egg’ and started to take ubiquinol which is supposed to improve egg quality. I also took guanefesin (cough syrup) around ovulation time to improve cervical mucus.
Currently 18 weeks pregnant and keeping everything crossed that it continues successfully.
I would definitely recommend the book - there are lots of useful tips about conception and improving your chances. I also found charting my BBT was helpful so I knew exactly what my body was up to as sometimes OPK’s can be a bit vague.
Lots and lots of luck xxx.

Congratulations to you too

I did get the book but haven't really read it yet

I also started taking a fertility supplement as I was unsure which ibiquinol to buy

Last month would've been the last chance to have the baby before 40 so was disappointed

I took ubiquinol too, plus we used conceive plus lubricant. We had no sex before cd9 as I was away then every day until 1dpo.

I had lots of time limits in my head, I'll be 40 in a few weeks before he is born. But when it came to it I just couldn't give up ttc.

I am 39 and trying for my 3rd. 1st took 8 months and second was IVF. I conceived twice last year in sept and nov and both ended in early miscarriages. I’m wondering if it is age related as miscarriage clinic didn’t turn up anything in blood tests.

I’ve been taking lots of vitamins inc DHEA in the hopes of conceiving by the time I am 40 later this year.

I passed the due dates of both my miscarriages and those were very sad times. Good luck to you, I hope it happens for you very soon!

Good luck to you too and sorry about the miscarriage

I'm putting the length of time taking down to age and opportunities for sex lol

It only took 3 cycles on my 2 children and twice I got pregnant when not trying but those ended in missed
And was my 6th cycle this time

I get reading that book properly and see can I get some more hints to help

Thanks so much
