Hi everyone,

So I got my bfp this morning (providing I'm not hallucinating 😁)
So so excited and happy but also very nervous and worried as last month I had a chemical pregnancy (early miscarriage) last month and am worried it could happen again so keeping everything crossed 🤞🏻that this is a sticky baby!

Sending lots of luck and baby dust to you all 💕

I think I've got my BFP!

Took a few days off posting results (1. Didn't want to annoy anyone 😂 2. I was driving myself mad)

So update:

On Saturday I got 2-3 weeks on a cb digital and using up an frer I still had the test line was darker than the control 🙈 - only did these to present to hubby when I told him! Told him Saturday evening and he was so so happy 😁

Just had my blood hcg beta results back and I'm so happy I feel like I'm shaking!

Friday 159
Saturday 759
😁😁😁😁🥰🥰🥰 so in love with this little bean already 😁

Definitely going to book an early scan probably around 7 weeks if we can 😁

How is everyone?? 💕 thanks again for all of the support you're all amazing!

@Abi58 so good to hear from you- I had wondered where the updates and gone and just assumed all the shops near you had sold out of tests 😂😂

I've been trying to keep my testing under control, I am doing an ic each morning... and I did my second frer last night. I don't have any other tests for the moment though (although I might have ordered some which will arrive Friday 😳)

I'm still so nervous though every time I go to the loo, it was about six days after my bfp that my spotting began, so I won't relax until after the weekend at least.

DaniX91 · 02/07/2019 18:17

@Abi58 wow look at that line!
@satsumasaturday congratulations!

Jeds55 · 02/07/2019 19:11

@satsumasaturday congratulations! Well done on keeping the testing under control I have spent a small fortune Blush

Jeds55 · 02/07/2019 19:17

Wow @Abi58 that really is a great line - mine not much darker and I'm a week ahead of you. You did so well keeping your news to yourself all week long, bet your husband is so chuffed.
Still worried my hcg rising too slowly, tests aren't really much different. Feel a but dizzy but no other symptoms, started to be sick with my dd around this stage. Trying to tell myself that every pregnancy is different though. Booked scan for next Thurs when I think I'll be 6+6 so hoping they'll be able to see a heartbeat .
Anyone else planning an early scan?

Jeds55 · 02/07/2019 19:18

Anyone coming up to testing time?

tiredmoma · 02/07/2019 19:50

@Jeds55 yes im testing in the morning

Jeds55 · 02/07/2019 20:28

Good luck @tiredmoma hope it's good news

satsumasaturday · 02/07/2019 21:06

@Jeds55 I spent a small fortune last month so I have been trying to keep my cool a bit more this month.... I'm away with work for a few days now so the earliest I'll be able to use my next batch of frers will be Friday night when I'm back.

Do you mean you're worried your home tests aren't getting darker and that's why you're worried about hgc? Because surely they reach a peak as to how dark they can be: there's only a certain amount of dye in the test. Easier said than done but try not to worry x

Jeds55 · 02/07/2019 22:01

@satsumasaturday that's what I need - to be somewhere with no tests at all. Just can't stop myself. I'm way past the point of the CP from last month but my major fear is another mmc but the tests are telling me nothing, and certainly not when testing daily. Will really try not to test tomorrow. Glad I have scan booked as even if it's bad news I would like to know sooner rather than later.

Abi58 · 04/07/2019 21:33

@satsumasaturday they were nearly sold out 😂aw have you managed to hold back still on the testing?
How are you feeling?

@DaniX91😂 thank you 😁

@Jeds55 I think they get to a point and don't darken I've not done an frer since as don't wan to panic myself
He was so happy and he's been amazing!
Try not to worry about tests it's a lot about the dye 💕
How exciting you'll have to show us your scan??
I've got one booked for the weds the week after when I'll be 6 weeks 5 days 😁🤞🏻for a heartbeat too!

So I've pretty much stopped testing but decided to use the cb I had lying around 😁😁😁🙈

I think I've got my BFP!

Congratulations 😊

satsumasaturday · 04/07/2019 22:53

@Abi58 I am very impressed you've held off using that cb until now! I'm tempted to buy a cb as It'd be the only way I'd be happy I'd progressed more than before (last month I never got past 1-2 weeks)

I've been worrying today as I've felt fine - and tbh I've felt ok since that day I felt dreadful. So I'm trying to persuade myself that perhaps I was just having a bad day and it wasn't pregnancy related. Therefore my symptoms haven't gone, they've just not arrived yet...

How are you feeling? That's exciting you have your scan booked - are you having it done privately?

Abi58 · 05/07/2019 06:09

@Mrsmummy90 thank you 😁

@satsumasaturday haha me too! i have to admit it did feel good! Last month by the time I decided to try one I was already on the decline and it said 'not pregnant' I was partying I just had low hcg, so super happy I've managed to get that it's finally starting to sink in 😁

Aw hun try not to worry and enjoy feeling ok while it lasts and don't forget everyone is different some don't get many symptoms ☺️
How are you feeling this morning?

I'm good thanks, waves of nausea (worse when I'm in the car) hoping I hold off being sick as long as possible (my mum has it quite badly so 😩)

Yeah I booked it through mothercare a one. Just for added peace of mind really ☺️

satsumasaturday · 05/07/2019 07:18

@Abi58 I'm feeling hungover this morning 😀 so I'm happy! (To clarify I'm not hungover, just feeling sick!) I'm at an overnight work thing, where a lot was drunk by all last night, it was amazing how much no one seemed to notice I was just drinking water all night! Or if they did they didn't say anything. Another lady was also just drinking water with me (we kept doing rounds of water 🤣) and despite never meeting her until yesterday we spent the evening chatting and sipping our water - I'm wondering if she's pregnant too...

The bonus of the drinking session is that we're staying somewhere with a fry up for breakfast, so I'm looking forward to tucking in!

I can't decide on early scan, the only one near me is £85 which seems steep, but then I think it would be so reassuring to not have to wait 12 weeks. I'll probably end up booking one I think. When is your scan booked for? Because you're only a couple of days ahead of me so I should probably looking for the dates just after

Abi58 · 05/07/2019 07:44

@satsumasaturday glad you're feeling better(well feeling worse but reassured 🙈) it's so hard not to panic though!

Haha that's good, yeah I suppose they're just caught up in the chat and drink 😂 hmmm I wonder too!

Oh a fry up sounds great, a lot better than my banana 🙈

We've paid £70 with mothercare another Belarus is £79 so it's not too far out.
I've booked it for the 17th so I'll be 6 weeks 5 days
Ideally wanted later just after 7 weeks but had to rearrange. We are having to travel to tell my parents and the only time we could do it without it being a month down the line meant we had to rearrange the scan (was booked for the 20th). We really wanted it before we told people so it sort of forced our hand! Just hopefully we see something reassuring and nothing that causes unnecessary panic 🙈
We will most likely (if a nice experience or still worried) book another at about 9 weeks to break up the time between this one and the 12 week scan as it's so long to wait!
If you google it you can see and read what can be observed each week 😁 that might help you decide. We're only doing early because we sort of need to but we wanted 7 weeks (not far off it so 🤞🏻)

@Abi58 what a coincidence! I'm also next seeing my parents on the 20th and was thinking that We'd tell them then but was thinking that if I get a scan I'd want to do it before then! But the place near me has appointments on Thursday 18th which would be a few days too soon I think. I'll have a google over the weekend and try to decide then. I just checked and the equivalent of today last month was the day I started bleeding properly after the few days of spotting, so I feel like by tonight I'll have reached a milestone. Perhaps I'll celebrate with another frer which should have been delivered by the time I get home 😂

Fry up was excellent, exactly what I needed! Have a good day x

Abi58 · 05/07/2019 09:10

@satsumasaturday haha yes! How many weeks and days will you be then? Might be worth giving them a call and asking if they recommend it that early? You should be able to see things from 6 (google and it shows you 😁)

Do you have any others near you? Or maybe a bit further but still easy to get to? Mothercare?

Aw yay that's amazing! Haha if you do let us see 😁🙈

Sounds yummy! You too :)

satsumasaturday · 05/07/2019 17:37

@Abi58 I'd only be 6 weeks 3 days then based on the day I ovulated. I might do a bit of research to see if there's others in the area (the one I'm looking at is at the bottom of the road).

Just did my test and it's still looking good ☺️

I think I've got my BFP!
MrsLBear · 06/07/2019 14:47

Hi @Abi58 congratulations!! So interesting reading your progression!
Can I ask how did you go about doing bloods to check the rise?
