Hi Ladies,

I'm new to this so looking for some advice!

I have been tried to conceive for 3 years now and it's just not happening! I've had tests and there's nothing major that is stopping me.

Dieting now to see if that helps but a friend has said to start contraception for a few months and then stop as this could help me conceive quicker..

Has this been the case for any of you??? Thanks! Xxxx

Hey , sorry to hear about your struggle , I've heard of it and read of some women who have done that and it working , it's a risk though , because the hormone tends to effect women differently , however saying that , going on it for a few months should not make a massive difference , personally a few years back I was on the pill for about two months and fell pregnant pretty much straight away after stopping it , I did not continue with the pregnancy but that's besides the point , lots of studies have shown that women are the most fertile the following months immediately after stopping contraception!

Hi

Thanks for your reply! I think I might give it a go and hope for the best!

I'm hoping weight loss helps too... I believe the keto diet is a good fertility booster!

Going on the pill and losing a bit of weight might help! Fingers crossed xxx
