Don’t really know who this is aimed at but I just need to vent!
Positive OPK yesterday and today so ovulation is imminent I expect.
DTD Friday, so wouldn’t have caught it I expect.
Just got turned down by DH, tail end of a hangover.
Just feel like I’ve now missed it for this month and feel shit and teary. Another month of longing and being disappointed.

If you had a positive OPK today, you might catch it if you DTD tomorrow! In fact, tomorrow might be perfect timing. It’s not over yet 😊

DramaAlpaca · 23/06/2019 23:31

As above, tomorrow might be perfect timing. Good luck!

I've always had the best results a couple of days before ovulating. There's a school of thought that when you see a positive opk it's too late, the sperm need a couple of days to go through some process or other that I can't remember the details of now.

I can really sympathise with this but I agree with PPs plus def have a go today - I fell pregnant the day after a positive OPK. X

My tests actually say on them once you get a positive the next 24-48 hours is the best time to conceive so the day after a positive is best?

LouH1981 · 24/06/2019 13:33

I wouldn’t worry, positive OPK just means you should ovulate in next 24-36 hrs so you are not out yet.
Plus when he recovers he owes you big time! Demand pampering tonight and at least 2 x baby dances tomorrow 😀
