I know these are faint, but can you tell me if you think these are positive on Day 16?

I felt like they were getting stronger and then they seemed to get faint again.

Thanks so much, I'm going a little crazy as you can tell. :) I am 16 DPO, CD 34. Period is about 6 days late.

I can see lines!

Peachie77 · 22/06/2019 00:09

@awakeat3am Thanks!

What about here... do these seem to be fading? These are the ones that concerned me. Seems to be lightening up. :(

Ok thanks. I am obsessing a bit. I have never had a positive in my life so I'm trying to not get excited until something is reasonably visible.

Can definitely see lines! Smile

Glitterandunicorns · 22/06/2019 03:12

Hi OP. Congratulations! Try not to worry about the strength of lines on tests like this. They can be variable depending on all sorts of things. The only time I'd be concerned is if you start to get bad pain and bleeding.
Best of luck! Thanks

Alicewond · 22/06/2019 03:55

The lines are definitely there and so you are pregnant. Anything else that happens isn’t known. You can only stay positive

Peachie77 · 23/06/2019 19:19

Thank you for your positivity everyone.

@AliceWond and @ GlitterandUnicorns, on 16 DPO (CD 34) the lines seemed fainter and 17 DPO (CD 35) AF came and the positive lines stopped.

Nasty cramps and heavy, started with light pink, then bright red and next day dark brown. Tested again today (18 DPO) and the line is completely gone. :(

Has anyone ever seen a BFP after something like this?

I am just excited to know that SOMETHING finally happened after 2 years of trying with no positives.

@Peachie77 sorry to hear this. I had this last month unfortunately and it was a chemical pregnancy/ early miscarriage. Yours seems like it might have been that with a few positives a bleed and then a negative. I'm so sorry 💕 dr told me it would be due to a chromosomal abnormality and nothing I did or didn't do would have helped/harmed. Make sure you take care of yourself and we're here if you need to talk 💕

Peachie77 · 23/06/2019 20:25

Thank you @Abi58, I appreciate it. I'm just excited to see that we're at least capable of pregnancy, even if it doesn't stick. For so long, it was just period after period, like clockwork. A faint positive was so exciting to see.

Were you ever able to achieve a pregnancy after your chemical pregnancy? Do you know which chromosomal abnormality it is? My sister achieved pregnancy easily every time, but had a chromosome issue. She dealt with multiple chemicals and had to have one DNC.

@Peachie77 that was last. Both I'm currently 8dpo so we will see! I don't feel the same as last Month ...not sure if that's a good or bad thing yet.

Don't know what abnormality there was no investigation. Dr just said it I don't think it's something specific that will happen over and over again it's more the way our 2 sets of chromosomes joined it wasn't viable if that makes sense. Apparently 25% of pregnancy's end early as not viable, we're just more aware of it through early testing then having our period a bit late.

Sorry to hear that about your sister as well that must've been really tough 💕 was it a specific chromosome?

🤞🏻 we both get a sticky baby soon 💕

Peachie77 · 23/06/2019 22:23

@Abi58 Fingers crossed that you'll get a sticky one this month! 8 DPO means you're getting close. Then the days slow to a craaaawl. How long have you been trying? How long is a typical cycle for you?

Have you had more than one chemical? My sister had a translocation of chromosomes 13 and 21. But she went on to have two perfectly healthy kids, 14 months apart. I've just started acupuncture and I feel like it's going to be a huge help.

@Peachie77 thank you and you 🤞🏻I knowwww so slow!
This is my 2nd proper cycle off the pill so. It long but after the positive last month it desperate for it to happen 😩
How about you?
Aw that's great news about your sister!
Acupuncture sounds great (although I'm afraid of needles)

Peachie77 · 27/06/2019 00:51

Hey @Abi58 how are things going, must be about 11 DPO by now??

We have been unprotected almost 2 yr but very focused and vigilant about cycles for about 8 months. With my CM this month, I think I've thrown my cycle off and missed my June ovulation :(

Acupuncture is great for regulating periods and bringing more blood flow to the ovaries and everything. The needles are so different from regular blood-draw needles....they're so teeny tiny that you honestly barley even feel them.

Hiii @Peachie77 I'm ok thanks 12dpo now and got a bfp😁just hoping this one sticks! 🤞🏻 tests seem to be getting darker so hoping that's a good sign I just want to get past this weekend 🤞🏻

🤞🏻 it will happen for you very soon! Good new is with a chemical although it's awful it gave me hope that it can happen it's just that particular one wasn't meant to be 💕

What do you mean thrown off your cycle? Are you tracking anything else?

Oh wow, I've heard it looks amazing but seen photos of people looking like a porcupine and it's terrified me 😂🙈

How are you feeling??
