Sorry for the image.

I am 4 weeks pregnant I went the hospital to get checked over for bleeding and period pain like symptoms and was told to go back Monday for a scan but could any one give me advice.

The bleeding is getting worse and am worried now? I really am stressed out because it feels like Monday is a life time away

Is the blood fresh red? (hard to see on my phone)
I unfortunately experienced the same thing last month (also at 4 weeks 6 days) and went on to gradually bleed more and miscarry. If there are clots, I'm afraid it is bad news.
So sorry you're having to go through this. It's horrible not knowing what's going on.

Hope you have someone with you x

I’ve just been the toilet again for a poo but had to squeeze and when I squeezed bright red blood come on. No clots or nothing am petrified I rang the hospital and they said only come back if you fill 3 towels xx

I had a similar last month and went on to miscarry also I'm afraid. As pp said, clots are the bad sign. Also when you pass tissue (which I didn't know what the doctor meant when she said this, but when it happened I knew - sort of like the consistency of chicken and a very pale pink)

However plenty of women have this bleeding like you've got, and also red blood, and go on to have healthy pregnancies- hopefully you are one of those x

There’s nothing when I wipe though nothing on the tissue, I really Hope am not losing it 😞

I hope the bleeding has stopped now @liverpool1995 Have you got someone who can be there with you? As pp have said it could be just one of those bleeds and all is fine or could be start of miscarriage.
With my mmc I had to wait over weekend to have d&c. They told me in case I started naturally to miscarry to go into hospital if it was soaking more than 1 pad an hour. Anyway, hopefully doesn't apply to you xxx

Nothing since my shower just some clear discharge when I went for a wee before hope that will be the end of it now and my pregnancy is fine 🤞🏼

Good news that it seems to have stopped.

Bleeding is very very common. I bled like this with both of mine. My midwife said if it's brown it's likely to be old blood left over from implantation and not to worry unless it's fresh red blood, and even then it's very common up to around 8 week ish

Yorkshiredolls · 21/06/2019 21:33

Hello I hope your ok love. I think bleeding is common during early pregnancy and from your photo it looks like just spotting. had it been worse than the photo? I had a lot of spotting with my first with a few small fresh bleeds and lots of days with brown spotting. It turned out I had a haematoma thing but all was fine and had a DD. I’m 6weeks with my second now and i’m getting lots of spotting again, very much like your pic actually but i’m not worried this time as seems to be pretty normal. it’s mostly brown but occasionally pink.

liverpool1995 · 21/06/2019 22:13

Today is the worst it has been, I just checked my pad before (the nurse said put one on) and it’s 3 little light pink spots, is this a good sign? It my first and I have never been pregnant before so am all new to this. Also the scan I have on Monday I will only be 5 weeks 2 days what should I expect to see?xx

When it happened for me once the brown spotting started it didn't stop at all (so I'd read the clear discharge as a good sign), it just gradually got heavier and then after a few days turned red and after a couple more days I had the tissue. This started at five weeks, and the doctor said there was no point in doing a scan because they wouldn't be able to see anything... I was told to wait a week, do a pregnancy test again and if the line was still as strong or stronger to get back in touch. So I have no idea what they'll see but at least they're offering you the scan., but I think be prepared that it might still not leave you reassured x

When it happened to you did you MC or was everything fine, am literally stuck in limbo with what to do I read that implantation bleeds happen a few days before your period is due but this happened as soon as I found out I was pregnant I don’t no if it was a shock but I really want this now I have the best supportive boyfriend so will be devastated

satsumasaturday · 22/06/2019 07:21

@KLR2019 I did MC unfortunately but when the bleeding started there were so many people who had had the same bleeding and went on to have healthy pregnancies. There is absolutely nothing you can do to to stop it if you are having a MC but I really hope you aren't. How is it now? X
