Spotting around ovulation?

Am actively TTC.
AF 10/6.
Due to ovulate 24/6 based on a 28 day cycle. Didn't overly track cycle pre DC1 so not really sure how long my cycle is, as was on the pill for 12 ish years before that.
Have spotting today, along with quite a lot of CM.
Anyone else experienced this? Does it mean anything? The CM I'm not too bothered about, but wondering about the spotting.

Oh, and a negative ovulation test about 4pm yesterday

I sometimes spot around ovulation; sort of creamy pink mucus (sounds yuck). Don't think it's anything to worry about.

I used to spot around ovulation while TTC oddly enough.

I'm pregnant now after 5 cycles, so it didn't affect me in any bad way x

Spotting would always be a couple of days before I got a positive test, iirc
