How do you calculate DPO?

Morning ladies,

I've been TTC no. 2 for two and a half years now (unexplained secondary infertility, so we've been told to just crack on and hope for the best) so you'd think I'd have asked this question before now!
We've been using OPKs, and it just dawned on me this month, how do you calculate DPO when ovulation can occur between 12 and 48 hours after a positive OPK?

My positive this month was a Saturday night, so should I be counting Sunday as ovulation day? Not that it matters anyway really; just wondered!

Morning, just like you I've always thought it could be either day after positive opk or day after day after! I always have 2 in my mind so think yo myself this is 10 or 11 dpo for eg. Sure I read somewhere that the average time to ov after positive test is 24 hours though so more than likely the next day. Sorry, no help at all from me!!

Also read that ewcm should stop when ovulated so can check on that too...

Hi ladies I was just reading your thread and wondered if you know if ewcm continues after ovulation is it a pregnancy symptom?

Jeds55 · 21/06/2019 13:00

I had ewcm on CD 21 last month and turned out I was pregnant. Was such an odd time of month to get it! Pregnancy unfortunately wasnt successful but I did some googling and other ladies had ewcm before bfp with successful pregnancies so fx it's a good sign for you!

Oooohhh I have ewcm! Hoping it's a good sign.

Posted too soon sorry! I'm sorry to hear about your loss.

I'd agree about 24 hours after a positive opk.
