@MrsEG - I’ve booked us a log cabin not too far from Whitby for 4 nights. DH will have been working solidly until then so he could do with the break. So either hot tubs and champagne or a countryside chill if we’re PG by then!

@PippaPug - thank you :) honestly, just look forward to the best day of your lives and try and forget about all of the TTC stuff. I know it’s easier said than done, but I wish I had that to look forward to all over again! I know we’ll speak before then, but I hope you have an amazing day! X

@XjustagirlX - I have only been TTC for two months but I use internet cheapies till I can notice they are starting to get slowly darker and I start with the clue blue ones - and the closer I get to ovulation I start using them twice a day, but as I said I have only been doing them for two months so other people may have better advice then me!

@MrsH497 that’s pretty good going! My work hasn’t no food so I haven’t had any lunch so your doing better then me!

@XjustagirlX - the CB tells you when to start testing based on your cycle length, so I’d refer to that?

Eggs not cooperating! 4 more days of this and a scan on Friday.

@ValidUser animals are the best for knowing when you're feeling a bit crap, aren't they? Hope you're scams go well on Friday.

@XjustagirlX perhaps do one a day of cb at least until you get a dashing smiley? I did two yesterday and it picked up my static in the evening.

@FlapJackered totally - must be really frustrating to not have a reason but hopefully that means you're due your bfp soon! I'm good thanks - pretty sure I'm ovulating today so am at the end of my smep regime - ready to go to a festival on Wednesday - hoping that'll break up my tww and keep my mind off it! Your messy dtd story made me laugh!

@PippaPug took advice and did a test in the evening and got a peak! So glad that's out of the way! How exciting about the wedding. How long have you been ttc if you don't mind me asking? I like that you haven't put it on hold!

@Lozzlepop OH is loving the smep! It's going alright actually and I reckon we'll only have to do it once in the field - would be a funny story if it works!

@Larrydavid - I’m glad it worked! Ohhh tent sex in a group tent?! Do you have a separate area?! Are you going to Glastonbury? We have only been trying for 2 months - but due to our work we are often working away but I realised that (May/June/July/August) where when we were around more and when I was/am ovulating (according to apps) so we thought we would have a head start!

@MrsEG ohhh my god!! Congratulations! I am so so happy for you, I totally understand the mixed emotions but that is great your consultant is so on it! You have every reason to be happy and positive about this pregnancy. ❤️ Just the once?! Your DH must be very pleased with himself 😂
I am feeling ok, I am just getting more and more fed up with each cycle that goes by, it is really good to have the consultant involved now though, it feels like a weight off my shoulders.

@LindyMoe it's exhausting isn't it! DH said to me this morning 'right let's get this done' before Dtd! 🙄 Romance is officially dead in our house! 😂

@Larrydavid it's good to have things planned for the tww to distract isn't it. I am either ovulating today or tomorrow too! Tww twins 👯

@FlapJackered congrats on solid smiley. Good to hear that your consultant is being optimistic. My OB told me the same, followed by "we will shower you in medicine if we have to". So here I am, on 4th cycle of Clomid. My body is living a life of its own as it's only CD11 (well 12 now) and I got a positive opk. I was not expecting it as it was literally the first one I used this cycle. But the symptoms are here, some ewcm, I'm extremely dehydrated (happens every cycle around positive opk time). My temps have been much higher than normal, not sure why. I know Clomid can affect it but never did before. I guess we'll just have to stick with every other day dtd because I might not be able to pinpoint ovulation.

@ValidUser good luck on ovary cooperation! Hopefully you get some nice friendly follicles.

@ELW85 the weather yesterday was actually insane, I got caught in what i thought was a massive downpour but turns out it was flash flooding-took us 50 minutes just to get out the car park at the park and ride last night 🙈 where’s summer gone? Still feeling snoozy this morning! Good luck for SMEP ☺️

@FlapJackered yes SMEP has been accomplished, that’s a good tip for starting later I just wasn’t sure when I was going to OV so we just went for it from CD8 😂

How is everyone today? It’s pretty grey and miserable here but think it’s meant to be nice from tomorrow which would be a welcome change! We are planning a nice quiet weekend coming up and off to see a friend for a catch up on Thursday night so all in all a good week so far!

@lozzlepop where abouts do you live? Yesterday was such muggy weather I could have worn a bikini to work, London underground was horrid! I mean it's June but no idea where the sun is, maybe last year's glorious few months of summer is all we get.

@FlapJackered I know! So hard to keep the romance alive ttc, just kept making sure I got mine

Doctor's appointment today, not sure what to expect. We tested 3 more times after work to make sure the bfp wasn't a fluke. Only thing that's worrying me are the cramps I'm still getting...

@LindyMoe we live in Fife but work in Edinburgh, we got a months worth of rain in 3 hours 🙈 oh god really? 😂 good luck for your appointment, the doctor will prob just refer you along to the midwife, when I got my BFP I just had to call the midwife directly, the dr didn’t want to see me. For the first week or so I constantly felt like AF was coming!

@KatBeCool hello, nice to see you again. How many cycles of clomid did they say they'd try?

@Lozzlepop - I was fearing for my Edinburgh mates yesterday! I saw Corstorphine got hit pretty badly. Let’s hope it calms down today!

I’ve still not got my day 3 results back but I’ve stressed myself so much about it I was dreaming about it last night.
Any pep talks/words of wisdom are greatly appreciated at the minute!!

@Larrydavid I decided to just start using the Clearblue tests once a day from this morning. Restarted SMEP from today 😜

@ELW85 god I know it was actually a crazy day! Its been ok so far today, much brighter which is good! When were you expecting them? Have you chased them? I know its easier said than done but you just need to try and relax as you will drive yourself mad otherwise 😬

@Lozzlepop - you’re totally right, I need to relax. They’re due Friday but it’s at risk of chipping away at me which I don’t need!

Pleased to hear it’s been better up the road! One of the guys here has to try and get back to Glasgow tonight so he’s a bit nervous 😬

@orangeloo normally you can't be on Clomid for more than six cycles. Of course I'm hoping this cycle will result in a bfp, but if not, I'm going to the fertility clinic and IUI might be the next step.

@ELW85 honestly try not to worry. No point until u know there is something to worry about and if it does show anything wrong there is a very good chance it's something they can help with.

@orangeloo - thank you! I think I just over analyse everything. You’re right though, nothing to indicate there’s anything to worry about, I’m just jumping to conclusions.

Thanks everyone for all of your support. I'm not exactly full of the joys, but feeling more peaceful today. Next scan on Friday and hoping for better news then!

@KatBeCool hi lovely! That is earlier isn't it, although I am sure it is not a bad thing, I would just keep Dtd and cover all bases!
My temp went up this morning which means I ovulated yesterday, cd17, which is the earliest ever. I am going to confirm it tomorrow then I will try and ditch the charting for the rest of the cycle as the consultant instructed!

@ELW85 it's horrible waiting for results isn't it. Just think if they come back clear that is great, if something shows up then it is better the devil you know, and you are then in a position to get it sorted. Will keep everything crossed for you 🤞🏻

@FlapJackered I'm going to ditch the charting too after I confirm the ovulation. It's too stressful. All the temp dips, all the worries that come with it. It's just not worth it. We didn't dtd on CD10, but did yesterday and I told DH he better be ready today (his exact response was "ugh"). We'll stick to every other day from today a couple more times. It's a lot easier to follow a schedule than a guessing game.

@ValidUser sorry you're not feeling joyful. Delayed is still ovulation, and slow growing follicles are still just as effective. So I think you'll be ok Friday. Fingers crossed!

@FlapJackered - you’re right, and that’s a great way to think of it.
