Late last period - no idea where my cycle is now or when I ovulated

Hi all,

My cycle is usually pretty regular - around 29-30 days, but for some mysterious reason, last cycle my period was 10 days late. Obviously I was excited and did numerous test but all were negative, and then AF turned up after 10 days.

This has thrown me with regards to ovulation and cycle. According to online calculator, I should have ovulated a week ago, but it feels like I'm ovulating now due to symptoms. Now I'm not sure when I should be due, when I 'm ovulating, when I should test - help!

Anyone got any ideas how I can chart this with any success? Thanks in advance

@Imaysnapandfart hey I am pretty much in the same boat as you are.

I was 2 days late but the period was not like full period and only lasted like 1 day and half.

As per chart I was due to ovulate on 15th and have been using clear blue digital opk which kept on giving me blinking smiley since 15th which is high but no peak to show I actually ovulated. My temps shows slow rise so as per the chart I had ovulated but I am having cramping now .

So confusing unsure if I ovulated or not or Am I actually pregos

Im in the same boat,my period was 5 days late and im never late,took numerous test all bfn,next month im going to track my cm and temperature and do ovulation test from day 10

@Wedding2018 I know Hun how frustrating that is. Been doing prego test last month as it late and was hoping BFP but unfortunately bfn and some bloods too which confirmed bfn. And this month messed up ovulation 🙃

@twinkleyes35 it frustrating me so much, ,i got a doctor appointment next week to see if i have pcos, because i have sum of the symptoms, so if that comes back as positive i can put my mind at rest

It’s so confusing isn’t it! @twinkleyes35 that sounds almost like implantation with such a short period. Did you poas?

I’ve been cramping like my periods about to come and soooo emotional, but POAS yesterday and bfn so no idea what’s going on! My period is also due (I think!) in a week so who knows what could happen? Just so confusing as I’m not sure where I am in my cycle!

@Imaysnapandfart haven't poas yet scarred to see bfn . af not due till 28 of the month so will be waiting.

Just been so stressed doing poas every day last month

@twinkleyes35, yup I know what you mean - it's just so draining (and expensive for all the tests haha) to see the BFN every time.

I have been super emotional all weekend, which could be PMS. I'm due 28th too - so lets just see what happens!

Well I totally caved and POAS this morning, but was BFN. Don't know why I'm surprised - don't even know if AF actually IS due on Friday or not!

@Imaysnapandfart hey sorry to hear abt bfn ... but I would say don't loose hope it can take past the Af date for hcg to actualky pick as implantation might have not happened yet.

I am holding of doing POAS till AF this Thursday but actually not buying test to start with .

But tbh am spending literally entries day reading and watching videos of conception, symptoms ... going crazy.

Must say have become more aware of my body since TTC. Small twinge in belly is now noticeable 🤪.

Been having small cramps on lower right abdomen which is usually on left side .. but this could be Af coming never know .... temps not dropped much ... keeping the faith 🙏🏻gods will is accepted. 🙏🏻🌈🤞🤞

Gosh I totally know what you mean about spending ages looking up stuff about conception, it's very time consuming and addictive!

Are you POASing today? I'm going to wait till tomorrow....

I have sore boobs and some backache, which could be AF on its way... but I've been soooo emotional the past week, it's unreal!

@Imaysnapandfart hey no gonna wait till tomorrow. Had light cramps and feeling like AF going to come but temp is on the rise and randomly some CM , keeping the faith and 🤞💫
