Opk help!!!!!! Positive after time limit

Hi ladies just a little bit of help!

I am getting a positive on a opk test after the recommended 10mins. It is nearly positive before 10mins but it gets darker and darker, until it is the same as the control line!!
could I count it as a positive test?

Could definitely count as a positive test if it's faintly positive before the 10 mins... but the only way to tell is to wait! When I got pregnant it first was incredibly faint, and gradually got darker and darker every day. I knew a couple of days after my first maybe test that it was a definite. Good luck! I would count that as a positive! If the line is almost positive before the 10 minutes then you are very close to ovulation so the difference between it becoming positive before the 10 mins could be a matter of hours. Time to get busy 😉

Thanks for replying beanjen and MrFlibblesEyes I did another test around an hour ago and it was positive before the 10mins time limit 😊😊 so I guess I’m about to ovulate real soon? I DTD on Friday, Sunday and Tuesday so hopefully that is enough and will do it tonight and tomorrow if we have the energy!! Its only our second month TTC so hopefully won’t take to long xx

Definitely positive. My positive stayed for 24hours (2nd/3rd June) and i ovulated the day after (4th).

I had exactly the same yesterday on the cheap test and a solid smiley on the clearblue using the same wee.

missmomo when will you stop think you’re fertile window will be over then? Just to work out if I should DTD today too 😊😊

I had a negative on an IC this morning so I assume its finished now and I am pretty sure I am 2dpo

I am having a strange cycle as I stopped breastfeeding about 3.5 weeks ago and it seems to have had an effect. I just had 3 days of spotting when it should have been my period and then ovulated on cd 14 when previously I was having a 32 day cycle and oving around cd 17 or 18.
I will test around 9dpo anyways as I have no willpower!

@rightnow1245 i got my BFP last week (13th) at 9dpo

missmoomoo Yeah same I’m still breastfeeding but my cycles seem to but pretty regular so that is good! My Son is nearly 2 so I’m not feeding that what anyway 😊 How old is your baby?

wishing56 Congratulations.. how many months where you TTC? I fell in the first month with my son but think that it was beginners luck 🤣 hope the TTW won’t be to bad! I’m pretty busy atm so hopefully will keep my mind off it 😊

@rightnow1245 thank you. 6months TTC but first month using the OPKs. I found them really useful. Thats good to keep busy.

wishing56 So pleased you got your BFP! I also find them very useful and I used them the month I feel pregnant with DS 😊 Do you think was was missing your ovulation the previous months? This is our second month TTC so FX 😊

@rightnow1245 definitely! I thought my Flo app was correct but it was probably out by 4 days, so reckon we missed it every time. I wanted to stay really relaxed about it all and not use OPKs etc but I kept getting so disappointed each month that DH agreed should at least use OPKs to try and pinpoint it better. Glad we did!

I speak to so many women that say that! Well lucky you started the opk then 😊😊 I’m hoping I’m as lucky as last time 🙏🙏
