BFP followed by BFN 3 days later?

Hi girls

I am soooo confused right now! I had a MC last month, ERPC on 2nd July and "think" I ovulated 10 days later, so loads of BDing went on.
I did an HPT 2 weeks after my ERPC and got a BFN - was pleased as thought my hormone levels had finally gone back down to zero. Then tested again last Sunday (almost a week later) and got a BFP!!!!! Was so happy! Now tested again this morning (same Clear Blue test) and got a BFN again Now feeling really gutted.

My 1st pg had stopped at 6 weeks and was discovered at 9 weeks, so is it possible that BFP 3 weeks after ERPC would still be hormones left in my system from that?

Anyone had this before? I have not had any bleeding and thought I had pg symptoms, but now wondering if it is just AF on the way?

Feeling so confused, deflated and sad today

Hi there. I've just had a missed m/c (11 weeks but baby only made it to 8 weeks)and then an ERPC when the m/c was incomplete after almost 3 weeks of bleeding. I was still testing BFP 4 weeks after the start of the m/c. (which btw i was told was totally normal by the nurse and doctor). I got my first BFN a few days later, which must've been 10 days after the ERPC. I would say that your body is in a bit of a state after a m/c. Although tempting to believe that you are pg again, sorry to be pessemistic but its unlikely. The way I see it is that you are advised to wait at least one cycle after a m/c before trying again. This is for a reason, not just so the dates are easier if you were to fall pg again, but to let your body recover, physically and emotionally, and to allow your cycle to get back to normal. I really sympathise with you, I too am desperate to get pg again and fast! But another month or two won't kill you in the grand scheme of things, will it?! Just try and enjoy the time not being pg, make the most of being able to drink and try to chill out. I know I know I know everyone says those annoying things but i really feel its true. Stop torturing yourself and let your body work its magic in its own time. hope this helps and good luck with ttc the next one.

Thanks for you message Kazza and I do agree with you really and I know I am not pregnant now. I have a wedding to go to this Saturday so as you said, I will enjoy that and the fact that I can get drunk!

Good luck for you too when you start TTC again after your miscarriage!
