We decided to casually start trying at the end of May. I've been feverishly doing ovulation tests and the odd pregnancy tests as my periods haven't settled down yet. Couldn't believe my eyes at this.

I can see feint lines on the middle and bottom one.

CastleGin · 18/06/2019 20:44

I see it too, congratulations!

Chocolate35 · 18/06/2019 20:46

Bin the ovulation kit! According to every brand I tried I was never ovulating, I found it so disheartening. I’ve now got two kids and fell pregnant not long after binning them. Good luck.

fluffybottom · 18/06/2019 20:47

Top one was from the day before yesterday. Thank you so much. Trying to rein myself in a little!

Chocolate35 I've had some weird results- last couple months I've had two or even three peaks a cycle. I've been trying to work out what's going on

@fluffybottom are these ovulation or pregnancy tests? I think the way you worded it these could be pg tests but the only green ones I have are opks 😁🤞🏻 for you

fluffybottom · 18/06/2019 20:55

all three in the pic are pg tests. I've got light green ovulation and dark green pg.

@fluffybottom 🤞🏻 for you! Did the lines appear within the time? When did you take them all? The bottom ones look grey where the top one is white are they still wet? When you did the ovulation tests did you get any positives? Know when you might have ovulated?

🤞🏻 for you 😁😁😁

fluffybottom · 18/06/2019 21:59

@Abi58 I last ovulated 2 weeks ago and dtd 2 days before. I wasn't sure if the line appeared later with one so I did a second and the line appeared within 3 minutes. I took the photo 5 mins after doing the second one so they are both still a bit damp.

Will do another test in the morning.

Ah sorry, I thought they were ovulation tests. The bottom two look positive so looking very good 🤞

Abi58 · 18/06/2019 22:26

@fluffybottom looks promising so exciting! 🤞🏻 let us know how you get on in the morning 😁

fluffybottom · 19/06/2019 07:59

2 more squinters this morning. Going to wait a bit and retest next week

Abi58 · 19/06/2019 11:09

@fluffybottom 🤞🏻 for you. Are they still about the same as yesterday's? Got colour? 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻

fluffybottom · 19/06/2019 12:31

Both got colour, a bit darker but still squinty! We're still only around 12-13 days post ovulation so early days to be testing I think. Still in shock and not sure what I need to do!

If you're pregnant you just refer yourself to the midwife (cal your go if not sure the process 😁) if you're still unsure wait a few days and test again to make sure. They won't see you straight away anyway so a few days won't delay anything :) 🤞🏻 good luck

fluffybottom · 19/06/2019 18:46

Well. This is pretty clear isn't it.

Yay! Congratulations!

Peachie77 · 19/06/2019 18:56

@fluffybottom - Congrats on your lines! I'm nearly the same as you, I'm currently 14 DPO with a very VERY faint line. Are you going for a blood test or are you going to wait a bit?

Abi58 · 19/06/2019 19:05

@fluffybottom yay congratulations!!!

fluffybottom · 19/06/2019 19:37

@Peachie77 yay! That's super exciting! I keep showing DH the test just to make sure there line is still there.

I'm going to try and book an appointment with my lovely gp as I want to chat about a few concerns I have (my bmi is high and I've been on a successful diet for a while, don't want to just stop) and pick up the booking in pack at my practice.

OP posts:
Peachie77 · 19/06/2019 20:17

@fluffybottom That's a good idea! Let me know how the appointment goes. What kind of diet is it? Did you have better luck with the cheap sticks or with the expensive tests?

I haven't told my DH yet. He was actually due to get his sperm/blood tested tomorrow... I made up a reason for him to cancel the appointment. My sister had a lot of MC's and this is my first inkling of a positive, so I'm playing it safe. DH is a big worrier so I want to wait until my GP confirms. We've been trying for 1.5 yr.

fluffybottom · 19/06/2019 20:34

@Peachie77 it's the Dukan Diet so high protein, low carbs. The cheap ones were really really feint, the Clearblue one is an early detection one.

I'm sure your husband will be delighted to know!
