Hi Ladies

Just wondering if anyone has ever been so sure they are pregnant but keep getting negative tests? Am i actually just losing my mind?!

By my calculations if i am pregnant i would be 9 weeks 5 days. I have been completely exhausted, nauseated and light headed for the last 3 weeks and unbelievably bloated. 2 days ago the nausea just stopped out of nowhere and now i have back pain, sore boobs headaches and heartburn, but loads of energy.

My 2nd missed period would be coming up in 3 days if i was pregnant, so it could be PMS but this is not how my PMS normally manifests at all! Its so different which is why i cant shake the feeling that i am pregnant despite what the tests say...

I've done 4 tests between 7 weeks and 9 weeks but all negative.

I've made a Doctors appointment for a week from now, and i'm just worried they wont believe me or offer me a blood test to put my mind at rest?

I really don't want to finally find out i'm pregnant too far along to make preparations its totally stressing me out!

Am i just being a psycho? Should i just believe the tests and try and forget about it? Whats the latest you've ever got a BFP?

Any help is appreciated! or please slap some sense into me!

xx

I think tests are bullet proof. If they say negative then you’re not pregnant.

You’re not pregnant. Believe the tests. Absolutely wasting nhs time and money if you go for a blood test to confirm.

I'm sorry but I agree with the others. At 9 weeks, your positive should be so strong that it's a dye stealer on the tests. You can't be 9 weeks without enough HCG in your system to show up on a test.

But if you feel that something is not right then I wouldn't discourage you from seeing your GP. There might be something else going on that they can help with.

Have you actually been having periods?

All the symptoms you mention can be caused by progesterone/hormonal imbalance. It's not completely impossible you're pregnant, but while consistently testing negative it's extremely unlikely.
