After ovulation you have a second estrogen surge that looks like that. It’s normal and not linked to anything other than a healthy menstrual cycle.

Maddie17xx · 18/06/2019 16:23

Thank you :) so this couldn't be a sign of pregnancy??

If your period isn't due for another 7 days then no. If you were having pregnancy symptoms then your hormone levels would be high enough to give a positive test. Doesn't mean you aren't pregnant but don't over analyse too much - you'll drive yourself crazy!

Maddie17xx · 18/06/2019 16:31

I actually haven't done a pregnancy test. I'm just going to wait and see if I come on my period.

I've never experienced this before a period so I was just a bit confused on what it could be personally. Xx

Agree with @spugzbunny its too early to indicate pregnancy. If you are pregnant it will stick around instead of your period but again it’s normal in the luteal phase in s healthy cycle. Some cycles are different to others, or you might not have noticed it so much before when you weren’t trying to get pregnant.

Thank you everyone :)) will keep you all updated xxx

I get this every month after ovulation and before my period

Ellapaella · 18/06/2019 18:51

Looks like what I get when I'm ovulating

Ellapaella · 18/06/2019 18:52

If you're trying to get pregnant I'd be having sex now! This is what I get when I'm ovulating and at my most fertile. I always ovulated quite late in my cycle not on the days you are supposed to.

Maddie17xx · 18/06/2019 19:05

@Ellapaella ha ha , thank you! I will try my best😂😂. I'm due on in 7 days though. Could I really be ovulating xx

OP posts:
Ellapaella · 18/06/2019 19:12

Well that's definitely what I get when I'm ovulating and (sorry if tmi) I always feel quite randy around that time too! I've lived by these rules and had three dc, got pregnant very quickly when trying going by this. Got to be worth a try? Good luck! 🍀

Maddie17xx · 18/06/2019 19:51

@Ellapaella no that's defiantly true😘😘. I've got 1 baby already but she's almost 2 and I don't even know where to start to try for another. 😂🙈 any other tips?xxx

OP posts:
Ellapaella · 18/06/2019 20:07

My tip would be don't have 3!😁
I think I've probably been lucky to get pregnant so quickly but I've always been able to tell very obviously when I'm ovulating. My mood changes, I feel very happy and lively and full of motivation. I feel very 'on fire' for a few days if that makes sense. It's great actually, wish I could feel that hormone high all month long!

Maddie17xx · 18/06/2019 20:12

@Ellapaella 😂 ha ha. Bless you, that's fair enough. It must just take me a while to fall pregnant then. I had a miscarriage just over a month ago... so will see what the next few months bring xxx

The only way to accurately tell if you are ovulating is to take your temperature every morning at the same time before you get of bed with a basal body thermometer and log it in an app like fertility friend. Along with that, use ovulation strips (cheap ones from eBay) and pee on them at least every day near early afternoon, it's positive when the 2 lines are the same level of darkness.

When you get a positive ovulation stick, have sec every day for 3 days. That's the most likely method to hit all your fertile days

I've tried looking into this and there isn't much info available. This is one of the few things that explained it a little, maybe it's of interest. www.avawomen.com/avaworld/leukorrhea-early-pregnancy-discharge/
