I always swore I'd never be a "line eyes" poster, assuring myself I was MUCH more patient than that and would just take a test a few days later...

PAH! Turns out I'm just the same!

I've been taking tests for a week and am now 2 days late, and have had a load of negative tests all week but today...I saw an invisible line! (Yes...invisible...but I swear it is there!) It is so faint I can't see it most of the time, then it suddenly I get the angle right and it's like looking at a pretty much invisible line...

There is SO little chance I'm pregnant it's not funny. I have had sex once this cycle. And we're technically infertile (though my son would beg to differ). And if I were pregnant it should have shown up a few days ago, going by dtd and if ov was early etc...

This is not a line right? (Stop me from keeping fishing it out of the bin for another look, because I know it's pointless this long after taking the test anyway, but I can't help myself!)...

I bloody love a line eyes thread. I see what you mean there is a shadow, but I've had this on an IC before and it was just an evap. Good luck, test again in a few days.

Hmm.... a shadow and a no. That's probably true. I'll try to wait til Tues or Weds and test again. At least I'm working a long day tomorrow so won't be tempted by it all day! (AF will probably arrive tomorrow though, giving me a clear answer).

ICs just aren’t reliable. Switch to FRER more expensive but never wrong and detects the smallest amount of hcg. Good luck

I know I should...but with 6 years of ttc under my belt, I pee on far too many sticks to afford a frer habit! These ones satisfy my craziness whilst not breaking the bank. But yes, I shall go and get a frer tomorrow and stop mulling over ICs for now!

At first I didn't see anything, but when I opened it a second time I thought I saw a shadow (have you tested again this morning?)...

Totally with you on trying not to develop of frer habit - i also just have a stack of ICs and then when I thought I saw a shadow last month I went and bought a frer. It was not a shadow on there! I stayed pregnant for about 10 days after AF due before MC and I tested A LOT during that time - frer got dark, digital tests showed 1-2 weeks, but ICs still no more than a shadow 😂 they are crap but I've still stocked up again for this month!!

I got a shadow and a speck of an invert but now nothing. I do wonder why we do it to ourselves

I can see little shadows, but tbh with you I have spent all weekend staring at ICs.. here it’s my contribution where I can think I see a little skinny line...
But no, it’s torturous... why do we do it to ourselves...?!
This mornings I thought I saw little shadow and then I have one more to do tomorrow morning.. not sure what I’ll do after that lol.

I cant see a shadow on yours but it doesnt mean to say there isn't one in real life.
