tummy upset around ovulation

Does anyone get this? For my past two cycles, on one day of the month (just before ovulation according to the Flo tracker), I get horrible stomach ache and trapped wind. TTC at the moment (Cycle 1), so I'm keen to know exactly when ovulation happens. It's confusing because Flo says ovulation should happen on Tuesday/Wednesday, but I had this awful belly ache yesterday. DTD last night, and wondering whether we should keep DTD until Tue/Wed just in case it wasn't ovulation yesterday.

I got a positive OPK yesterday and have had a bad tummy last night and this morn. I get really bloated too!! Not sure if it's coincidence or not?! X

Then I'm not alone! I'm pretty sure yesterday was O-day, given the tummy problems and the way I'm feeling today. I'm not OPK testing - just going by cycle predictions.

I came off cerazette in August 18, it stopped my periods whilst on it. Started TTC Jan 19 (not pregnant yet). For most months I get really cramps like trapped wind and just generally feel miserable. I think it happens during ovulation as it is mid cycle (I don't do tests). I get the pains intermittently for 3 days. Weirdly it's been okay the past couple of months. I am having pelvic ultrasound tomorrow to check all is okay.

This pain is known as mittelschmerz. Like period pains but at the time of ovulation. Quite useful if you are TTC. I get terrible pains which are usually worse when ovulating.

I get mittelschmerz. Clear and painful one side then the other every other month. Incredibly convenient when TTC. An absolute PITA the rest of the time. For me it's worth than when I'm on.

Hello I have noticed a terrible dragging pain and wind and bloating for the past few months. I have also had a really aching and uncomfortable lower back when ovulating on my right side. This month I have had such bad nausea I was unable to go to work. I use opks and it’s always the day or day after I get a bfp. Been ttc for 1 year after stopping the pill. The amount of things I feel now compared to when I was on it are crazy.

This was me too. I was on day 43 of my period and had awful stomach wind pains. I had a hot water bottle too. Now whilst I have IBS and bloating is certainly part of it, this was definitely worse. I don't know what made me try an OPK but it was positive. The first ever. Then 13 days after my period arrived 🤷‍♀️
