Positive opk?!

Hi
This is my first month TTC, I came off the pill on 29th May after taking it for 13 years.
I've been using the Clue app to track my cycle as I have no idea what it usually is.

Earlier this morning I took an OPK which was negative, however I've since read that they work best taken later in the day.
I've just taken another one, just an internet cheapy, which showed two lines, but the second was still fainter than the first line. So I took a clear blue and got a smiley face!

Do you think that means I'm definitely ovulating? And how come it wasn't positive this morning?

Any advice would be very much welcome!

Thanks

Opks are better not using first morning urine.

Most people test twice a day as you can miss that surge.

You'll actually ovulate in the next 12-48 hours.

Good luck ❤️

When I started TTC I was doing the OPKs first thing. Then I realised you shouldn’t use FMU. I started doing them twice a day once at 1pm and once at about 7pm. The ones at 1pm we’re always faint but the 7pm results have me the best lines.
