I am so confused!
I had a period 21- 26th April, dtd twice, period was late so I tested and got 2 negatives and what looked like the faintest of positives, then another negative. Got my period on 23rd May - couple of days late - which finished on 28th May. Dtd once approx. 4 days before suspected ovulation. However, this month I had no signs of ovulation. I felt weird so I tested a 6dpo (based on app - usually pretty accurate but no signs) even though I knew this was too early. I did a clear blue digital, clear blue digital dates, and a clear blue +, all showing pregnant. The dates show 1-2 weeks. What does this mean? Did I ovulate earlier than usual? Conceive before my last period? (then showing only 1-2 weeks would surely be bad). How likely is this pregnancy to continue? I'm so scared that I'll have a chemical pregnancy now.

I hope you can make sense of this jumbled mess!

The best thing to do if you are worried if contact your go and explain and ask for a blood test to check the levels are increasing.

You would not get a positive at 6dpo so it is likely you ovulated late in your previous cycle and you period could have been implantation or similar.

Yeah, everything I've read says that's impossible. And I know getting positive on a digital doesn't usually happen early! With my first child I didn't find out 7 weeks, I wish it was the same now so I wouldn't be worrying about this. Is it OK to be only getting 1-2 weeks if I got pregnant a couple of weeks earlier though?

It calculates roughly when you conceived, so if it says 1-2 weeks you conceived roughly 14 days ago max so anytime from the 30th May. Then when you are dated by the doctor they will go by the first day of your last period, so 23rd may. Hope that makes sense?

It makes sense.. But it also doesn't. I dtd 8th and 9th May and I definitely ovulate around those days. My period a couple of days late but I had all negative tests, except one in the middle looked like the faintest positive, then my period started 23rd. I then dtd 2nd May (using withdrawal - we're not trying just yet, but but using proper contraception as we wanted to ttc in the next couple of months, and wouldn't mind sooner). I was supposed to ovulate around the 6th June according to my app, which isn't usually far off, but didn't have my usual signs of ovulation. Because of this I went by my app for dpo, which would have been 6dpo when I tested with a digital (left over), then I bought a weeks indicator as it showed up, and this told me 1-2 weeks. I've also tested with a clear blue plus showing a definite positive. Everything says it's impossible to show this soon though.... Especially on digital

Perhaps you didn't actually ovulate when your app says. I use 3 apps and they all suggest different dates. I now tend to go with cm and pains.

Please call your gp for advice if you're concerned .

Good luck ❤️
