Hello! I’ll be 8dpo on Saturday and although I’ve got a frer at home, in all likelihood if I tested it would most likely show as bfn as it’s so early (my luteal phase is 12 anyway).
But we’ve got a party Saturday night which is all complimentary food and drink, and tbh, if I’m going and it’s bfn I’d be wanting to partake in the fizz! But I’m still a bit unsure really of drinking or not Confused

Even if you are pregnant you won't have a placenta yet for any alcohol to cross over.
Have a drink if you fancy one.

My Friend had no idea she was pregnant until she was 8 weeks, she got completely paralytic in this time on multiple occasions and baby is beautiful and healthy.

I think this early on as PP said theres no placenta, enjoy your self!

Definitely have a drink or a few and enjoy. We can't put our lives on hold for something that may not happen that month. If it's a BFN you'll be pleased that you enjoyed the party, if it's a BFP I can assure you no harm will be done and you'll have said goodbye to drinking for 9 months in style.

Go for it; I was told a baby will take nothing from you until 5-6 weeks even if you are pregnant. If you are, could be your last night out in a good while so enjoy it!
