Did anyone ovulate late and still get pregnant?

Hi, I normally have a cycle around 27 days, but sometimes as early as 25, or as late as 28. My period is normally around 3-4 days.

This cycle I bled for about 6 days with spotting after that for 3 more. App said I was ovulating mid cycle so we dtd lots around that time. OPKs were showing faint line all this time, which is know is considered a negative but was secretly hoping it was o coming on. Did another OPK yesterday and got a positive, on day 21. We haven’t been dtd so much this time (bloody knackered after a marathon effort earlier in the cycle) but I’m hoping we have been able to catch the o.

Has anyone had a late cycle in an otherwise regular cycle, ovulated late, and got pregnant?

Any ideas why I could have bled so long and ovulated so late this time?

Not sure on your questions OP but sometimes a positive OPK can actually be a sign of early pregnancy. It picks up a similar hormone or some such - I was skeptical until it happened to me!

I think it’s unlikely though because I don’t think I ovulated mid cycle as per my app. But let’s see . Congrats to you on yours!

BFN this morning so that’s that ruled out. Good suggestion though :)

When ttc with dd we only dtd on day 23 of a 28 day cycle, as dp was working away, got a bfp 14 days past af due!
Dd was a week late by my dates.

I got BFP this month and ovulated CD21 when usually about CD17.

The best way is to dtd regularly from the end of your period until you get a bfp or your period again. An app won’t know when you’re ovulating.

Me i usually ovulate cycle day 16 we went on a night out as things had been awful between us period didn't arrive I'm now 10 weeks pregnant I thought we'd be ok as it was cycle day 21
