Bahhhhhh! I’ve just got my BFP. Oh my GOD! My husband and I were going to start ttc this summer but had a cheeky one time unprotected this month and my period was due over the weekend. I’ve had period pains for days and I’ve kept going to the bathroom thinking AF had graced me with her presence.
So I was reading about it on mumsnet this evening and egged myself on to just take a bloody test, even though it’s nighttime. It showed negative at first, but when I was washing my hands a few minutes later I realised there’s a very faint line. Oh my god!!
This is is though, right? I’m not going nuts? I’ll upload a photo.
My question is this: should I wake up my husband and tell him? Weirdly I thought about this this morning and fancied that if I was pregnant I would try to wait until Father’s Day this Sunday to tell him. But it feels a bit deceitful hiding it from him until then...
What would you do? This would be our second child if all is well and correct. Oh my god! I had to tell somebody!!! Thank you for being there to reach out to, you lovely people!
