Cd21 &. Medical appointment tomorrow

Hey, I have an appointment with my gynaecologist tomorrow for a few reasons really, one of them being constant spotting which has settled down a bit now.
I have been having unprotected sex all month, I didn't think about this appointment and if she might do any thorough examinations!!

What should I do?
I'm testing in the morning in case but it might be too early, can a internal womb examination cause any problems ?

Is it for a particular procedure?

A 'standard' internal examination wouldn't have any affect, but a procedure where something actually enters you uterus (like a hysteroscopy or hsg) would be a problem. Fingers cannot enter the uterus.

Oh I see, I'm not sure what she's going to do, assuming they wouldn't do a hysteroscopy on the first consultant appointment?

No. They wouldn't. It's essentially surgery... you'd know well ahead of time and probably need to fast, abstain from sex, etc...
