Can anyone explain my temps?

I was certain my huge temp drop meant af was on its way. Cramping for the last few days and horrible moods swings. But then my temp came up again. It’s too late for implantation. Any ideas?

Maybe it's just an anomalous reading? Do you temp orally- maybe you slept with your mouth open? It's not technically too late for implantation which is usually between 6-12dpo although you are at the very edge of that bracket. Are you using the correct type of thermometer as all of your readings are to one decimal place rather than two?

From what I have read implantation dips can happen in pregnancy charts but you can have the dip and not be pregnant ...or not have the dip and be pregnant.

If you are now 14dpo have you taken a test?? If you do and it's negative and in a few days you still haven't got af I'd test again. When is af due?

It could also have just been an incorrect temp - taken too late/ early /after not enough sleep/ room temp different etc.

Thanks for your replies. I temp vaginally the minute I wake up, so hopefully that’s all ok. The thermometer definitely works as it’s different later in the day. Maybe I need a different one though - it does only read to one point.

Tested yesterday and today just to be sure but no sign of a line.

Af due yesterday or today so quite surprised at the ruse after the dip.

Do you use OPKs and chart cm?? To be honest I'm not sure you've actually ovulated going by that chart. You didn't have two consecutive days of rises 0.2 above the normal temperature line. Your post ovulation dates look a little flat to me, compared to mine. Mine kind of go up gradually and form a bell curve. The only time they are that flat is before ovulation.

You definitely need to invest in a proper bbt thermometer as it's much more accurate.

Yes, positive opks round day 14. I was wondering if maybe I hadn’t ovulated at all 😢.

Will order a bbt thermometer now.
