Hi ladies not been on this lovely group for 6 years since i had my second child far too much happened in that time! Lovely to be back .i had my 2nd at just turning 40..miscarried at 43..im now 46 do you think im selfish& too old to try for another baby?

Well I'm nearly 41 and trying. If you are fertile and ovulating it's certainly possible, but I suppose, like me your chances are lower. Its not unheard of though. Good luck.

Thank u..i know long shot at 46 but im fit healthy& dont smoke rarerly drink im going to get some blood test

I had a dc at 43. After a mmc at 45 my gp told me I would not carry a baby to term at my age.
I continued ttc but nearly 48 now and not had a bfp since the mmc.
Obviously some women do as per news /celebs etc.
See your gp for some testing.
Mine was happy to check bloods but nothing more past 42.

Hi i also miscarried at 43 doctor put down to age think im just at the stage of my age 1 last chance if i could but i have 2 beautiful children 1 23 1 6..and have chance to go back to further eduation into nursing so will concentrate on that and be blessed and grateful what i have in life.truthfully think im pre-menopause so feeling a bit down..time to pick myself up
