Sorry for the goady title!

AF isn’t due for another 5 days but I’ve been feeling sick and getting weird cramping feelings. It’s different to my usual PMS that I get a week before AF but it’s different to how I felt when I fell pregnant with DD.

I know it’s early so I took a cheap pregnancy test

Pressed too soon 🤦‍♀️

So test was showing negative.

Trying to not let my hopes run away with me but as I’m getting some symptoms shouldn’t the rest be positive?

Not at all. So many period sympyoms can mimic pregnancy ones. And when you are symptom spotting it's even worse! I hope it is the case fo you, but I would only base it on the test, not the symptoms at this stage.

Definitely too early to test I had all the same symptoms and I didn't get a positive until 8 days after AF was due !!xx

Thanks all!

I took one this morning 🤦‍♀️ Still showing as negative.

I think I’m comparing it to my last pregnancy where I knew day before my missed period and it was a super strong line.

Unless I’ve been super lucky and not having my usual PMS or I’m pregnant. I’d love to be pregnant but it took me a year to conceive DD and although I had sex during ovulation period this time, it wasn’t daily so 🤷‍♀️

I do think our bodies are clever and it's not like they wait around for a pregnancy test before going ok hormones let's go! But the symptoms that the hormones create are pretty identical to the symptoms that period hormones create too. Except that when you're TTC you have the added anxiety of waiting and that can sometimes make you feel nauseous and even be sick.
