Tender boobs

Just a quick question really how soon do your boobs start hurting post ovulation?
I know that progesterone levels cause breast soreness so would it be possible for progesterone levels to be high enough on the day of ovulation to cause breast pain? Or does the level rise the next day?

About 3/4 days before a missed period. It's always my first sign and they're never tender or sore before so I always know I'm pregnant in my gut before the test shows a fully dark line.

I have sore boobs from ovulation right the way through to af.

Used to think (hope) it was a symptom but after so many disappointments I know it's not 😭

Thanks for your responses! I thought I ovulated on Friday but then my boobs started hurting Friday night...so I’m wondering if I maybe ovulated on Thursday because im not sure my progesterone levels would be high enough after ovulation to cause sore breasts?

I used ovulation test now saturday gave comeplete negative and sunday i have the strongest result all week but my boobs hurt and assumed that i always get that after ive ovulated

Hi @Gemja13- glad someone understands my confusion and frustration! Do you think the test was invalid perhaps? Really weird that you got such a strong result on Sunday with painful boobs after nothing on Saturday...perhaps it was Saturday that you ovulated but the test was wrong?

@Katieandkit i have no idea, on my app i use my ovulation day was wednesday, but ive been confused with my ovulation test too.. my boobs are still tender today. But im noting more down to try and get my head round my cycle.. maybe the test was a dudd xx
