Maca Root Delay Ovulation?

Has anyone ever experienced Maca Root supplements messing with their cycles?

I came off the pill back in mid December to TTC#2 - periods were regular straight away 28 days with one at 29 days. They have been very light though, 1.5-2 days with 2 days of spotting beforehand and about 5-6 afterwards.

Having had no luck getting a BFP I started to take Maca last cycle (no 5) to see if it would help with spotting. It didn’t although less fertile CM then usual. Then this cycle (no 6) I had none of the usual signs of ovulation - negative OPKs, no CM, no ovulation pain. I assumed it was anovulatory cycle but stopped the Maca just in case. However a few days back I started to get a lot of fertile CM, took some OPKs and got a really strong positive yesterday - CD27.

So should I assume that I have ovulated really late this cycle? Could it have been the Maca or just a weird cycle? I’ve never had a cycle this long! Although I conceived DC1 first cycle off the pill so I don’t really know what my normal is.

I’m 37 so have started some blood tests & have a pelvic ultrasound booked - although the day 21 I’ve just done will be completely invalid. I’m guessing I should get that re-done on CD35?

Any advice appreciated!!
